    Rear End Creak

This happened to my ute after I got it lowered. I did some reserch and found that after driving in the rain and then letting the car sit. The leaf springs build up 'rust dust' in between the springs which creates the creaking. Just wash them out really good (in between the springs) and you should spray all of that built up rust dust between them and will prevent the noise for a while, obvioulsy it will always build up after a while so you just have to give them a spray every now and then.
  6. Thanks heaps for that mate
  7. Im about to purchase a hard lid for my white ute. I did have a soft tonneau cover so it has black bulb things on the side (outside) of the tray that holds down the soft tonneau cover. does anyone know where to go to get these removed and the holes filled and painted and how much this would cost?? any help appreciated cheers
  8. Ive got an 04 xr6 ute manual and I drive it reasonably hard and im on 16.2 I really dont think that's right. ive got: Typhoon upper smorkel Hyperflow lower intake K&N air filter and a flash tune does anyone know if its just me??
  9. Hey all I currently have a stock exhaust on my ba xr6 ute. I have a full intake system but because of the stock exhaust theres a lot of back pressure. im looking at buying a high flow cat to reduce this back pressure, and the reason im not going with a full exhaust is because im not keen on too much sound. does anyone know if just the cat would be worth it? and which brand and size and cpsi to use?
