I can honestly vouch for Mario at Autotechnique in Rowville....... Several of my friends have also gone there and nothing is ever a problem or asking too much.....

I'm down to around 12 city driving and around mid 9's country/freeway...... I do have the edit though and tuned by a good reputable tuner......

I got 20's..........Tint-A-Car Formula 1's.... Life time warranty......very scratch hardy too......99.9 UV blockout.. Last 3 cars have had the same.........yes metallic but never a problem with the radio including AM......would do it again next car......paid $325 middle of last year......normally $395.......

My Tuner down in Melbourne (Autotechnique says that they work on about 25% loss for Autos...........) I have 260RWKW's which equates to 350 at the fly.... Seems its somewhere around 25-30% so I guess 25% is conservative.....

With 240rwkw? or 300rwkw? The auto's (Most) are good for about 240rwkw then you can start by strengthing the bands and pressures etc. Once you do a full auto upgrade $1800 odd then you are good for 300rwkw+ no dramas. Auto are quicker, howevermanuals show more rwkw's. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not far off JB.......... I have been running at 255 RWKW's for the past month and started noticing the auto sliping.......fearing the worst, I took it to Preston Auto for strengthening...... Sure enough for $1200 car feels much stronger......and should be good to go to about 350RWKS's.........did'nt really take too long to jump on the band wagon...

I got 259RWKW's but tuned it down to 255 even as I got the odd ping........ Now no problems since changing to BP Ultimate........ Also have larger injectors, BMC filter and some exhaust work done...... Like a few other guys, mine is an auto too and want to nurse it gently....

I directed another member to Suspension City in Nth Melb. They charge just $80 to fit, if you have your own springs. Alignment, if required, would be on top of course. Although I have new XR Racing mags on 17s', is it worth lowering it? People seem to like the King Springs, but numerous have not noticed a drop. Seems there is a place in Braeside (Melbourne) doing it for around $220-$250 mark... Is this correct, who is it and is it worth it?? And finally, does it lower the front as I'm already sick of scraping it at times?? thanks in advance.........

We were thinking of moving ourselves a few weeks back but decided to put it on hold for the time being...... Just to clear any confusion, I believe what rboksic meant is 240 to 260 KW at the rear wheels. This being a crapload more than the standard 240KW at the flywheel. To provide a comparison, a standard car will produce anywhere between 185 to 210KW at the rear wheels. Still very low for Optimax........I run the same........sure I have bigger injectors, BMC Filter and exhaust but I still get 259 RWKW's as well...... I had pinging issues on Mobile and BP....(go figure)........ Might be worth getting 42 pound injectors to get some cheap power........ Good luck......

I have finally finished with my Edit.........Now with 42 Pound injectors, BMC Filter, and Exhaust, we got 259 RWKW's yesterday...... I detuned her to 255 RWKW's even and she's very quick with fuel in city down to 12.3 litres per 100km and country down to 9.3....... Overall, very happy.........my tuner did state that if I got the auto strengthened we could get her to around 280........but I'm more then happy with what I have now....... Just for the record, I use Shell Optimax and no probs there either....... Good luck......

Damn, I've tried both BP and Mobile premium and both had the T surging and pinging its nuts off.........went back to Shell and no probs at all...... In fact I'm getting around 12.3 litres around town and down to 9.6 on country runs..........average around 520 kms per tank now....... Still each car is different.......suppose my tuner tuned the car to take Optimax..

Gee ENVY-T, Where do you get your car serviced.......I just got quoted $280 from a so called dealer sponsor from another forum. (for 30.000kms service as well........) When I phoned back to get a price again without mentioning my details I was quoted $280 again...........what about the 10% discount!!! TOTAL BULLsh*t !!

Geea, from what you have said, I already had the centre muffler removed and hotdogs put in..........I also had dual 2 1/2" pipes put in together with dual 2 1/2" tips........ As for power, I'm not really interested in more power........what I am really after is sound and was considering first Remus, but now interested in Herrod.. although several exhaust places are pushing their stuff........a high flow cat is an alternative though......ummmmm

Looking at saving up for a full exhaust system from cat back. The contenders are: MagnaFlow Herrod Remus DiFilipo My budget is tight so wondering what everyone's thoughts are.......

Got any prices for us from W.A (even approx $$$) thanks as I too heard got stuff and have been wondering for nearly 6 months but decided to go the CAPA Edit first............

Possibly looking at getting bigger injectors now..... Roughly, what do they cost? Do the increase/decrease fuel economy? Do they help if the car is pinging? (dont worry my car is fine, more a question I dont no) Any particular brand? If you have the CAPA Edit, will this give you increase power? How long do they take to instal? And finally, will the car need to be retuned? thanks heaps in advance........
