  1. hey, thanks for the link to the converter, was the one I've been trying to get from converters.com but are all out of stock must have overlooked this on ebay just purchased it wa the last thing on my list now for the fun to begin. found that the carnetix and the cable above you mentioned were cheapest at mp3car, alot of good products on there. once again thanks for your help.
  2. bump.. can no longer get this video card http://www.converters.tv/products/vga_to_pal/40.html anyone know where I would be able to get one like this? been looking for days and still can't find where to get one.
  3. ok so I'm going to attempt to do a carputer setup with the premium screen for a stock look but need a lil help with a few things. Hardware: VGA to CGA - RGB Converter - appears that the converter that many people have been using has been superseded http://www.converters.tv/products/vga_to_pal/40.html can anyone recommend another one? found the same converter on another website http://www.highway.net.au/arcade-parts/converters/vga-cga-rgb/2019-1.html is this the best way to go or is there something more suitable? CarNetix CNX-P21 - anyone know where to buy in aus? or does everyone just buy from there stockist on there website? my understanding is that you use a standard vga cable from the mac mini, using the dvi adapter for the mac mini, to the converter and then you have to make the cable that goes from the converter to the icc screen, does anyone happen to know how to make this cable or a link I can't find it any where. I know you use a arepro connector (part no. can't remember of top of my head) or a plug out of an el falcon to plug into the satnav connector. have seen how to make a cable for vga to icc but don't think this is the right one. any help will be greatly appreciated guys, many thanks in advance.
  4. what do these drift teks look like, really want something like a black five spoke with chrome lip and the a bit of dish on the back but can't find anything reasonably priced. not looking at spending heaps either. anyone got any suggestions of what would look good.
  5. so got a flatty today in the ute, tried changing the wheel but the lock nut socket stripped the splines and then the jack snapped in half. so have decided to buy new wheels. sounds like a good excuse to me anyways I have a ba mk11 xr6 turbo ute with stock 17's atm and want to upgrade to 20's been looking for a while but just can't decided. definately want black rims. was thinking maybe dark argents? obviously this is a sedan but should look ok ay?
  6. figured its time to get some rims for the car. my car is a 2005 mk11 rapid yellow xr6 turbo ute and can't decide what rims to get. don't want to spend a fortune so was thinking either 19" 'advanti gauntlet' , 'F6 twisty' , or 'dark agents' - prob not gen, would even consider secondhand if in decent condition. anyone got any ideas of what they have seen that looks good or what they think looks good on a rapid yellow 6. thanks
  7. ok thanks will look into it cheers
  8. hi all been searching the forums all morning found a little bit of relevant info regarding my heater not working. ok so my heater works every now and then and once it works it works for a while but then it stops working when I really need it to. such an inconvenience. anyways with dead silence and the ignition on I can turn the nob from cold to hot and I hear no noise. so which points me towards the motor not working. but it works every now and then. so I'm thinking it must be a loose connection or bad terminal. now what I really need to know is where is this little motor? I believe its on the passenger side, but is it in the kick panel by the door or by the centre console. any help would be greatly appreciated would like to find and fix the problem. callan. also my car is a 2005 ba mkII xr6t ute with non dual zone
  9. as description says do Au drivers mirrors fit a BA thanks
