  1. Both Pioneer and Alpine have slimline subs that would fit. I went with the Axis sub because its about half the price.
  2. After getting sick of the my prefab box always moving around and falling into the dip in my BA I finally splurged on one of those ebay boxes. Goes pretty good with the stock speakers still in place and running the iphone charger plug direct into the headunit. Enjoy
  3. Im a big fan of jaycar. One of their monoblocks and two 12inch or 10inch subs provide exceptional sound quality.
  4. Some of the rim cleaners that actually work well are poisonous and very dangerous to breathe in or touch with your skin. Nothing beats a normal sponge .

    Tyres

I'd look at changing the rear tyres to Nankangs NS2's. They provide more traction than most $300-400 tyres as a result of less wheel spin they last longer too. They are quite soft compound but you'll save alot of money with no loss of traction, cant go wrong.
  6. Anyone who wants a loud freeflowing exhaust I'd consider an active exhaust where a valve opens and the exhaust by passes one or both mufflers. Most exotic cars have this kind a setup and it kicks in at a certain throttle position. I plan on experimenting on my car using two throttle bodies to by pass the mufflers.
  7. Does this setup take it out of hibernate or does it boot it up from scratch? I would consider moding the keyboard wiring and using hotkeys to just put the computer to sleep instead of turning off completely. This is where a laptop comes in handy as it has all the settings so when the car turns off it can just run off battery and put itself into hibernate mode until the car starts.
  8. Are you trying to receive digital tv with this setup? I have seen one guy on car audio australia acheive good quality picture using digital tv and a set top box.
