I'm glad someone else thinks 18L/km is fair for metro driving.. I've been half thinking something is wrong with mine. Plus I do set the air to 19 degrees (or less) & on all the time, which I read the other day can increase fuel by a margin. So, not only do I have a heavey foot, I like to be cool as well!! Plus I also do alot of very short 5-10 min trips becuase work is close to where I live. Car hardly gets warm before I turn it off again..

You guys must be driving like grand, grand, grand monthers!! I'm getting 18L/km constantly every week.. No freeway driving, no traffic diving, just sydney metro driving & 18L/km isthe best I can get.. Personally I think they drink alot, but do love them!!

I don’t know how anyone is getting 13-14-even 15L/100kms in metro driving in an XR6T??? You guys must be driving like grand grand grand mothers!! I don’t consider myself to be thrashing my XR6T by any means; I usually change in the low 3,000 rev range & currently get around at about 16.5L/100km out of mine... I've only done about 1700km on it since new, does it get better after more km driven or is this the best I should expect?

Thanks for the info Bunna.. I find that stuff very interesting, I'd love to see the whole thing in action!! All I know is they did a very nice job building my one :)

Why does it take an average of 5 weeks from order to delievery if it only takes them 3 (4 at tops) to make?? They must be some reason why it takes 5 weeks? Is it more just the lead time needed from all parties that make up this 5 week wait?

I go my XR6T a week & half ago so not too worry anymore.. Must stay I'm LOVING it, LOVING it, LOVING it.23 hours seems small?? I guess I was asking if Ford started step one today, when will the final step be done. Does those 23 hours take 2-3-4 weeks to be done or does it all happening in 3-4 days??

I'm up to 3 weeks wait now on my XR6T. Hopefully not too much longer as it is killing me. I've looked at the brochure that many times I think the paper will wear out soon!!

Can someone in the know tell me how long it takes to build? From nothing to the end product.. Not worring about getting to dealers & delivered to customer, just the plan old plant time to build.

Question: Is the luxury pack & tech pack an option that is only available at time of built or can they be added by the dealer as requested? THANKS
