I have the same issue, indicating left or right would cause my dash lights to cut off and on. but my headlights would work all a typical in auto mode they stay on and work fine I have noticed the my fog lights don't come on now with no dash light, which isn't a biggie as I don't use them only noticed when I was testing everything to make sure nothing else was wrong. like the rest of you mine seems to be a cable issue that much I have been able to determine with out pulling everything apart, looks like tonight I'm pulling apart my indicator stalk to see if there are any bung wires. and hopefully my fog lights are apart of the same issue.

for those who are interested, I installed some more lighting in my 05 bf xr6t ute with standard sound, the colour of the wires were: green with yellow stripe and gray dots = hot/constant black with blue stripe and gray dots = triger ( its not earthed still treat is as an cold/neg/earth) mine were located behind drivers side kick panel if you want to double check the colours that the cover off the dome light and you should be able to see the two.

that's certainly an interesting option. Well failing that, looks like Alpine's iDA-X305 is the go, pitty cos the iXA-W407EBT looks awesome.

Has any one installed or thought about installing a double din radio in the tissue box area? the height and the width works but what about the depth? a single din fits so there should be enough depth straight under the icc but what about a little lower is there still enough room? I was looking at instaling an Alpine iXA-W407EBT.

the cruise idea sounds good. what about instead of comming back up the princes hwy why not cut across through macquarie pass then up the hume. can always stop at the pie shop along macquarie pass.
