  2. Hey there Anybody selling anything decent (b series)? Have 35k to spend, would prefer built and tuned already as I'm in Newman and Cbf organising to get it done. Stu
  3. I didnt rate the service...
  4. If it is pouring a liter a week of coolant into a pot, then you will be up for a rebuild again fairly soon. You will wash the kit of oil (no lubrication/cooling) and you will get heavy carbon build up, which will in turn scratch crap out of your liners. Get them out, if you paid for them to do the job then they shouldnt have any issues coming out to fix there f@ck up.
  5. Call the noobs back out. Or pressurize the system when its at temp and have a good look around. Is it smoky? If its blowing out the zorst you will see some white smoke
  6. If its overheating and the radiator and expansion tank is bubbling then it is likely that combustion gasses are getting into the coolant system (Head gasket) Is it blowing smoke and using sh*t loads of coolant too? Check the expansion tank for obvious sign of gas getting in, if there isnt anything obvious then it could just be bubbling over due to a faulty thermostat or failed pump causing her to overheat. Are the fans working? Check the temps before and after the radiator to check for blockage... Need heaps more info
  7. Just make sure you get a decent trans cooler....
  8. The 2800 is a good stall. I have done numerous runs to Newman from Perth (14 hours each way) with a trailer on the arse end with no issues. And when you put the boot in it jumps straight on boost.
  9. Are there MLS gaskets available for the t's? I had them for an alloy headed 13:1 compressioned Expensive Daewoo 383. Sealed well after a bottle of chemi weld :-D
  10. Boost leaks make a racket. Simon would have picked up on it straight away if he has had it on his dyno. It's the first place to look when your lacking power.
  11. Would eboost help you get up on boost any earlier?
  12. Keen to see if simon can better robs tune, will help me decide who I will be taking mine too for the next round of mods...
  13. They would have to prove that the extra power caused the diff failure surely? I doubt you would make much extra without a tune anyways....
  14. Pictures would be awsome. stuart.tara@bigpond.com. Thanks for your help bud will send an email off today
  15. The process west one? Maybe I should chuck them an email
  16. I originally wanted a twin pump tube setup from process west but they seem to have discontinued that line? I had a look on plasmamans website and cant find a twin pump surge tank. I see there rail though which im keen on. If I can get one of there setups that mount up the front then I will be stocked as I wont have to run lines up to the front. Wanting an e85 tune with around 430-450, worried the single pump wont do it...
  17. Have bought a 2l surge tank and two 044s to put in the boot. Anyone know what the go is with running the the pumps to the fuel rail? Should I be y piecing the two pumps and then sending one -8 line to the rail and another -8 line from the reg back to the surge tank? Will I be able to do this or do I need a new rail and reg? Also running the line from the intank to the surge tank and the line from the surge tank to the fuel tank...Whats the best way to do that? The last fuel setup I did on a car I just gutted the whole original setup and ran all new lines, trying to avoid all the hassle and expense this time so if I can utilise some of the original hardware I would be stocked Cheers Stu
  18. Can I get the details pm'd? Might tag along if theres room. May be in a WRX though as my rear tyre on the t has a fair egg in it atm which im affraid will cause a blow out at speed lol

  20. 300 for delivery for all 4 tyres
  21. I had 4 hankook rs3's delivered last week from america through tirerack.com can speak highly enough of them and the tyres. I believe if you keep it under 1k you dont have to pay any tax...
  22. I can confirm that wiring it this way works. Finally got mine done, very happy with the result
  23. Actually I might not. The vibration is upon acceleration only. Not deceleration or when coasting. If it was a wheel balance or bearing problem wouldnt throttle position have nothing to do with it?
  24. Well I had the tailshaft balance redone aswell as the tyres. Might have a look at the wheel bearings and check the runout. Thanks for your thoughts. Wish me luck
  25. I chocked the wheels and stalled her up in forward and reverse and there was no vibration which leads me to believe its not engine speed or mount related...I had a perv though just for sh*ts and giggle and it looks ok
