  1. You could put a 'fordxr6turbo.com' sticker under his wiper blade. Then he/she will come to this site and we can all drool over their car. (Was that a good plug or what???)
  2. It is a shame if they don't get there site back up as Rob Herrod is an absolute Genius when it comes to the Blue oval. What better way to pay homage and check out new products then on the website? We want Herrod, We want Herrod, We want Herrod, We want Herrod, We want Herrod, We want Herrod, We want Herrod, We want Herrod, We want Herrod, We want Herrod, We want Herrod, We want Herrod,
  3. Bringing an old thread, Does anyone know anything else? It been close to 3 months now and still no site. They must be losing some business with no website?
  4. Mate picked up a 2nd hand 180sx with a shiny hairdryer. The plates on it read. SPOOOL

    Ford XR Jackets

Hey all, I may be wrong but I thought FPV had nothing to do with the XR's? Still look good though......
  6. Sounds like a half decent dealership there xrdreaming. I took my XR8 in for a coolant leak and an Oil leak the other day and the service guy tried to argue with me that I had voided my warrenty because I got an SS Induction kit fitted to my car. I went right off and his manager came over and he said straight away that the kit does NOT void my warrenty at all. I was quite bemused as he had to eat a big fat slice of humble pie. :flippingfinger: Turns out they couldn't find the oil leak so they cleaned all my underbody and told me to bring it back after 500k's. To the service guys defence he was very polite when I came to pick my car up. Not that I am very happy with him. I also have a metal contaminant in my power steering fluid and I enquired about that. It is quite noticable when you shine a torch in it so I took a sample and put it in a container and showed them. When I picked my car up the guy said it was quite common( wear and tear he says!) and not to worry??? So after 12000km's it should be common for the power steering fluid to be fairly contaminated??? Has anyone else's power steering fluid been like that with a similar amount of k's on the clock?
  7. that's a heaps good combo! Show us a pic! :D Hey GlennXR6T, Here is a pic for you, and everyone else. Also seen at the Ford dealership today (where my car was getting fixed for an oil and coolant problem), the number plate GOG04D. Not bad...
  8. Hi all, I have got my car booked in tomorrow for a Oil leak and also a Engine Coolant leak. I thought I had stuffed the sump when I went over a speed hump I didn't see but I seen under the car yesterday and there is no damage at all to the sump or any other componants. I got a SS induction kit fitted yesterday , and when they had to move the power steering module they showed me a sample of the oil in it and it had a kind of brassy/glittery sediment in it, quite polluted with it. I am really not happy at the moment with my dealership as this is an ex-demo and supposed to be in perfect condition! BULL:pooh:

XCNTRK - ECENTRIC 69M3 - 69 ME SEX2GO - SEX TO GO FULSIC - FULLY SICK 2DRUNK - TO DRUNK LETFLY - LET FLY I have also seen ONBAIL on a show car but it used to be on a Late model camira driven by a really mean biker dude. What are some good bumber stickers people have seen, there are some absolute classics out there. I seen a sticker on a beat up laser(P plater) in campbelltown that said "sponsored by CENTERLINK".
  17. Sounds like a gr8 idea GJ, My workmate has a Phantom T and we go cruisen often. We have even been with another guy who has an XY GT. Livo has alot of issues(e.g. Expensive Daewoo dealership on the highway) but there are so many Ford lovers around I am sure we could organise something. I hope those on the north shore don't knock us. I am a proud Westy even if I don't wear a flano and ugboots and sleep with my cousin. Sorry, been trying to make an excuse to use that icon. hehehe
  18. I have seen him in the Livo area as well. How about someone get IH8WRX

    smashed T

Luck the colour is sooo plain that it will be easy to repaint.
  22. I have had mine less than a month and have already been pulled over for 2 RBT's. Both times they asked for my licence but they didn't even look at it. The Officers each raised (in general conversation) my XR8. "So this is the new XR8 is it?" one said. Real subtle. Now on a completely unrelated matter I 'accidently' lost traction 2 days before the easter long weekend leaving a servo and I didn't see the highway patrol parked 3 meters to my left. :doh2: After giving me a neg driving charge he then wanted to talk about my car??? He wanted to know my fuel economy and how good it goes. He had a VY series 2 and was getting a XR8 at the end of the month. He was getting all excited talking about it but strangely enough I was not in the mood for talking. People in rural areas are more keen and open to come up and talk about the car and have a sticky beak which I don't mind at all. I am always more than happy to preach the virtues of the blue oval and the big BOSS engine.
  23. I have tried to get my XR8's average below 15L/100km but it so hard when you can put your foot down and watch the real time average flash on 99.9l/100km.
  24. Just got denied by CGU as well.
  25. $3620 a yr for my XR8. 30% NCB, 24yr old.
