    Bin Cam

I keep seeing the same rubbish recycled over and over again.
  3. Hey did anyone hear about that Hostage thing in VIC(not sure where). The guy holed up in a shop for 25hrs and then gave himself up. They showed some news footage of the cops raiding his house and guess what the number plates said on his Crappydore. BUSTED  :D

    Ask Ponch

Hey Plonky, I was in a servo in my area and my back wheels made a screech sound as I accelerated after filling up. I did not notice the Highway Patrol car up the other end of the station and he pulled me over saying I done a burnout. I explained to him that I have a disabled drivers kit and cannot engage both Accel and Brake at the same time hence why it screeched so breifly. I did conceed that I accelerated more than normal but what I thought was well within what is considered safe. I also said that there was some petrol/grease on the ground that could have contributed to my lack of grip. My question is: Is there a set definition regarding a burnout or does it also come down to interpretation. He did not see eye to eye with me and said I was doing a burnout. He then gave me a NEG driving charge advising he was doing me a favour. If it was a burnout I would of lost my car for 3 months he said. I did not have a prob with him as he is only doing his job but I do think it was a bit ripe.

    Bin Cam

I wonder if the Bins, if there used in VIC will be like the rest of the force down there. Shoot first, ask questions later, then take a bribe.......

    XR6 T vs XR8

I agree, I have yet to be done by an SS yet. The Auto SS's seem really weak as well.
  7. For sure bring him a long Chris LIKE A LAMB TO THE SLAUGHTER I have a couple a mates who want to come as well. They have an S15 and a 180SX. I call them the Are they welcome?
  8. I nearly got T boned by an XR8 Highway Patrol last night. Didn't even have there lights on! I saw another one this morning around the same spot getting people coming down Bexley rd, towards M5. A big hill and he was at the bottom of it getting people the B*st*rd!
  9. If only 100 proof Vodka was cheap to make, Than we could use that instead and have a drink at the same time.
  10. So how many cops have we all seen this weekend?
  11. Nice photo. I think you missed a spot.

    XR6 T vs XR8

that's one thing I have to ask. As a comparative thing. Can anyone tell me wether you can hit 99.9L fuel consumption on the live petrol reading thingy in the XR6T's? I just love doin it in mine. mmm

    XR6 T vs XR8

Vik, Did you say that you need to get extactors and a system to get a decent sound out of the V8???? My mate drives around in a 90k odd Caprice and I can tell you now it sound like nothing compared to my car. My beast not the Hells Bells of V8's by far, but it sounds pretty damn good IMO. Now a XY 351c...... That would sound a treat.
  15. What he said, cant see what all the fuss is about,As for putting a wheelie bin lid on the bonnet,Id make lift up a bit so it at least acted as a scoop, trouble is all the Expensive Daewoo crew would chuck their vb cans in it.At least in adelaide you get 5 cents a can,pay itself off in no time. vik Is the thing on the bonnet of the djr 320 actually just an engine cover stuck on, or is there a hole in the bonnet and that is some new age shaker? It's just a direct stick on. No holes. No shaker. I still like it though.

    XR6 T vs XR8

jteale, The XR8's don't have a premium requirment. The reccomended octane rating is 91RON or higher.

    XR6 T vs XR8

Hi and Lots of things to consider weapon. Options: XR6T: much easier to upgrade and get more power(currently) XR8: That rumble is something special. Fuel economy: XR6T: is obviosly better but then again, XR8: That rumble is something special. Insurance: XR6T: is cheaper than the XR8 but then again, XR8: That rumble is something special. Looks: XR6T: looks great. XR8: Well all I can say is sit in one and have a go at the bulge!!! and XR8: That rumble is something special. Take both on test drives if you can but it must come down to personal preference. I made my choice P.S. That rumble is something special.

    XR6T WAGON

The Turbo Territory sounds a go'a. I still dream of a BOSS 260 Pano limited edition. Probably more chance of Ken getting a Blueprint than that ever happening though.
  19. siccar, guessing about 5 or 6 of us Chris mmmm sounds good. And for those Day trippers like myself, maybe we could come meet back up at KK's in the evening and show all the P plate ricer's a thing or 2! KK's is crazy come sat. nights.
  20. Got the SS induction in mine and I drive up and back on the M5 motorway(outside of peak hour, late nights) and the average fuel consumption is a little down. The performance is definatly better though. Not that I do it, but I reckon when you put your foot down whilst cruising at 130km/h it really helps. Err ahh I mean it could really help. I think it enhances that 'whole give me more' attitude of the BOSS engine.
  21. I'll be keen on coming. Trying to get the day off now. KK's is 2 minutes from my house so it sounds even better. So how many will be at KK's?
  22. Now that's what I'm talking about Saleen, Some people just make statements and don't explain what they mean or back up what they say. You have explained your position perfectly and I can not help but agree with you. They(DJR and Herrod) have made what they think is a good car and to some it is. But that does not change the fact that it is an under performer. It also highlights just how good a thing Ford are on with the XR6T. In fact the whole BA range is somewhere that ford have not been for quite a few models. That said there is always room for improvment. P.S. I also like the wheelie bin bonnet. I wonder if I could use my otto lid and some alfoil and make a replica.
  23. Mate, the DJR XR8 was slower than a stocker. The ute is heavier with the same motor. I think $85000 is overpriced and I can tell you now, they will hardly sell any. Pursuit is a much better buy, I'm sure most will agree. I agree 100%, but it is still a harsh call to have people refer to it as a 'hunk of '.
  24. Jeez you guys are a little harsh tonight... It's not the greatist thing going but if you have got the money than why not? If you look at the market there aiming at than they have a top car for that particular market.
  25. A guy who live around the Campbelltown area has nearly as good a numberplate as mine. TIGERS
