  2. I have a pair of front Tein coil-overs for sale to suit BA. I have had them in my car for about a year and a half. They made an amazing difference. Height and damper adjustable. With the dampers set a the softest setting the are so smooth and very derivable and then when you wind them up the are even more amazing. Improve the cars handling 1000% Only selling because im selling the car and I took them out. If anyone's interested text or call me on 0401 227 678 located in SA
  3. ok, well I think I have lined up a complete turbo engine, but a piston or rod has let go. So, if I go through with it, ill just take everything I need of it and bolt it up to mine. Is there anything to do with the wiring loom that needs to be changed. A few people have told me there is? Im guessing that ill need the xr6t computer... what else to do with wiring would I need to do?
  4. Ah good to here. Another question, did you the NA injectors and fuel pump? All in all, you think it was a simple conversion?
  5. hahaha.
  6. Genuine. They have the nipples on the inside on the wheel, think it has something to with being linked to the original cars vin... In case they are stolen they can be traced? I think that's right, like I said im still a noob.
  7. Hey all, I have had a set of dark agents on my car for a while now and I have thought about selling them and getting something different. Just wondering what they are worth? I helped a friend out and he gave them to me as payment. Also im new to the Aussie car scene, no not sure what they usually sell for.. Cheers, Josh. Oh forgot to add, I had redwalls put on the tires, looks good on the metallic silver.
  8. Did a bit of a ring around to today, not many wreckers have or selling just the bolt on's that I would need to turbo my engine. I kept getting offered complete xr6t engines. Out of curiosity I asked how much... $4.5k. Not sure if that is over top or not?
  9. Adelaide, South Aus. You also have a PM
  10. And it made those figures with the stock turbo with a fg rear housing?
  11. Nice write up! Just wondering, you did the conversion and left the stock NA injectors and Fuel pump in and had no issues? That Dyno figure that you posted after the tune, was that still with the stock injectors and fuel pump? Cheers, Josh.
  12. Hey dude, great write up. Im plaining on doing the same thing. Did you have to change the head gasket to lower the compression? Or was it simply bolt all the goodies on? Also, you said that you used the turbo sump? Why was that?
  13. After having a better look around the forum, turns out it has already been done and a nice write up has been done. My Ba N/a To Turbo Project - Ford XR6 Turbo.com So I guess that answers all my questions hahaha. I may go ahead with it ...
  14. Thanks for the feedback. I agree, Suduced made it very plain and simple. I though id may as well ask, as im not sure how strong the std na motors are (I come from a jap car background hahaha). I guess ill wait for a while, sell up and buy a turbo. Just out of interest ill call a few wreckers tomorrow and find out how much all the parts would be. Id be doing all the work myself, so id be saving a few pennies on labor. Also, ill call a few workshops around here and see if they have turbo'd an NA. Just to see have they have to say. Cheers boys.
  15. What Boot lip/spoiler is that?
  16. Hey all, I have a 2004 BA MrkII Falcon, its the SR model. I basically bought the car as a daily, but now and getting the bug to tamper with it haha. Im Just wondering how much work it would be to turbo the standard engine that is in there. It had done relativity low kms (80,ooo), so it seems fairly healthy. Is there any major differences between the Turbo and NA motors. Im guessing that the Turbo engines have lower compression? Getting to the point... I want to know weather I should buy all the parts to turbo my engine or buy a turbo wreck and take the running gear out of it. If I was to turbo my engine, would I need to open it up? Or is it common for people to turbo the standard engine without any problems? Im not aiming for big power, just want to make it a bit more fun for the daily duties! Any help and feed back is appreciated. Cheers, Josh.
