  4. Sometimes these things look like a euro performance saloon..............or is it just me.
  5. Thanks MiKa, makes sense and settles that question.
  6. Well the air is getting colder and denser and the F6E starts running more responsive down low and quicker overall, particularly in the colder mornings. So this leads me to a question, I have a stock intercooler currently, if I upgraded to a PW stage 2 intercooler could I expect a similar response and performance when the weather warms up? I know the overall HP can be increased with a retune, but its that reponsive low down torque that really interests me.
  7. Hi F6ETaxi, Autotech did the exhaust, its an X-Force with custom mufflers. I had the original mufflers replaced with ones that have a lot more packing so its quieter, though it still can roar when you push the peddle to the metal. By the way, my F6E is from the original batch of 37 of which there was only 8 in Lightening Strike. It would be interesting to find out how many F6E models have been made in total and how many of each colour. FPV was happy to tell you, but its a bit harder though Ford. I would guess there would be less than 100 in total which would make them on the rare side. If I remember correctly there were about 400 Phase 3 GTHO produced.
  8. hi STIFLR, Not much done, full quad exhaust, Herrod turbo pipe kit and tuned by Autotech. I have also fitted Tein suspension with the EDFC and a whiteline rear sway bar which keeps it planted. Overall its quick and under the radar for looks. It also has a sunroof which is great when cruising on the highway.

  11. I want to acknowledge the outstanding job that Wholesale Suspension did in fitting a Tein EDFC to my F6E. I gave them a bugger of a job to do; fit the EDFC in the centre console under the armrest. That meant they had to remove the whole centre console and thread the wiring under the carpet. When the job was finished you could not tell a single thing had been moved. Everything fitted as tight as new, no squeaks in the console, no ripples in the carpet and the EDFC is hidden away to be used as required. It was great to have your car worked on by professionals who take pride in the work they do. If you are in Sydney and you want suspension work done, you should check out Wholesale Suspension at Penrith.
  12. I just fitted DBA4000 wiper rotors and Hawk Ceramic to six pot Brembos. Very little dust if any and no squeaking. It used to be very annoying before especially in shopping centre car parks. Next time they need replacing, I won't even bother looking at alternatives.
  13. I am getting a set of Tein coilovers fitted this week to my F6E, initially without the EDFC, that will follow in about a month. Any suggestions on what settings I should use front and rear. It won't be doing any track work for a while, just city and country driving. I was thinking I should probably set them in the middle for the rear and maybe one click firmer for the front. I am happy to take advice from anyone else who also has them fitted. Thanks
  14. I have an F6E, it is one of the original 37 made and only 7 made in the colour(Lightening Strike). The mods include quad tipped full exhaust from the turbo, herrod intake piping, tuned at Autotech with 330rwkw. Haven't run it on the strip as yet, the original tyres are getting near the end of their life with no traction in 1st and 2nd so after I get some decent tyres I will give it a run. It is also heavier as it also has a sunroof.
