  1. Yep when we ran 16psi for one run it was starting to run out of fuel so backed off. Was recommended to get an intank or Walbro if want to go more or if I was to ever replace pump. That will be next year I think, look at what options there are as I really dont want a noisey pump. Also made 211kw on 4.5psi with those mods minus injectors and cat on stock tune.
  2. After what seems like forever waiting to get a tune as I was waiting for ZF tune to be complete I finally got my ute done. Ran 315kw on 12psi which im definatly impressed with. Engine mods -Stock 07 BF2 motor -100cell cat welded in stock dump -Twin 2.5 redback catback with 3inch tips -Saber intercooler kit that included hotside piping -Rapidsystems coldside piping and UB intake -Bosch 968 42lb injectors -Xcal3 Still using standard actuator, standard valvesprings, wastegate flapper and standard fuel pump which seems to be the main limiting factor, But all I wanted was 300kw. Unfortunatly I couldnt get ZF tune done as my box isnt on the supported list yet. Other non engine mods are -Tein coilovers in front -1inch blocks in rear -30mm swaybar up front -18x 8.5 front and 18x 9.5 rear RS-D dished wheels -DBA front slotted rotors and Bendix pads -Ipod video kit on standard premo ICC screen -DashDAQ OBD2 gauges Standard dump with 3in 3out 100cell cat welded in place. Stock heatsheild on dump was reattached before install. heat sheild is facing that way to sheild gearbox. Pic showing intercooler and CAI. Not your usual setup but only lost 2hp between back to back runs on humid QLD day. Another pic showing piping. Intercooler setup. Made to use standard crossover and intake. But ive since changed it to setup posted up higher. Piping is probably same length or a bit shorter then stock hotside piping. Cooler is twice size of stock cooler. Tein coilovers and 30mm swaybar up front. How it sits now. Just have to drop the back another 15mm which ill be doing soon.
  3. Spoke to my tuner today and they said they can do it. Guess ill see next week.
  4. Can anyone with a tuned box confirm that you can have it drive like stock in D. But have firm, quick shifts in performance mode? I dont want a box that smashes into next gear when im just cruising down to the shops.
  5. If were talking to me. I run under battery intake on BF so theres a breather port on the intake. Hose runs from rocker cover to intake. Catch can is just gonna be between them.
  6. The legal way is to just put a catch can between the vent on rocker cover and pre turbo side of intake. I bought a cheap one off Ebay which should be here Monday-Tuesday ill be fitting. Rocker cover - hose - catch can inlet / catchcan outlet - hose - intake
  7. They will fit BA to FG. Its usually velcro strips that holds them down.
  8. Different. Lengths are wrong
  9. He has 2 other items for sale with $100 postage costs.
  10. Id be keen on a Snow performance kit. Dave at CPV uses these with good results.
  11. Friday 18th November and Friday 2nd December are the last 2 test and tunes for Palmyra(Mackay)
  12. Will a pod where the battery sits even fit with the stock hotside pipe in place.
  13. How about a Vinyl wrap instead? If take your time doing it should turn out alright and its reversible if you dont like it later on.
  14. Looks like some people need to do some research. xr/g6 injectors wont reach 300. maxing out at ~270ish. Ratter has shown this here. http://www.fordxr6tu...el-is-underway/ in the first post. Ratter saw 319kw with f6 injectors, 4inch exhaust and a pwr cooler a few posts later.
  15. Hes got 6speed manual. Clutch seemed to be holding the power. He wasnt doing skids or anything though. If weather is good tomorrow ill get a video.
  16. Took me for a quick drive this afternoon. Insane how fast it is. But drives smoother then stock at light throttle around town etc.Cant wait to get some video of the induction noise
  17. Ive got camera and im local Look on your face once you fired it up with the 4inch on it, Priceless. Be interesting to hear your flutter compared to my under battery intake.
  18. Its the monza cooler for the FG. Looks like no ones done any testing so far. Someone on another forum has fitted one just no tuning or dyno runs yet. Someone asked the seller for some technical info like pressure drop and seller couldnt answer.
  19. Really impressive seeing the stock F6 cooler compared to PW stage 2. That exhaust is massive too. Definatly no restriction on the intake or exhaust of this car.
  20. If its a big enough leak car will be sluggish. If auto get someone to stand beside (not in front for obvious reasons) with bonnet up and see if can hear air rushing out somewhere.
  21. Cant wait to see it done. From the list youve sent me theres nothing youve cut corners on.
  22. Ill let a mate who is in Rocky know you guys are planning something. He has 240+ kw BA NA. Might see if I can get down there.
  23. There was another Ute that was going to have a crack at the 9s. But I havnt heard about it in a while.
  24. Mine is like that too. I attempted it with normal spanners, No go. Tried it with pipe spanners and a big soaking of bolt-off. No deal. Going to leave it for workshop when get tune.
  25. can do that with tuner. I have a gps looking scantool that I have setup to show inlet temps. remember its not just the intercooler that heatsoaks. piping, crossover and inlet manifold all soak up heat.
