  1. Happy Birthday superfly!

  2. Are you talking about at Munchies? If yes, then there is a back car park but it also gets really full! I was there a couple of months ago, got there about 7:30 and just parked out the front. Right between 2 yellow Corvettes All the old cars are around the front. Around the back it seems just to be an area for people to socialized. But it was also packed out there. So no hiding anywhere.
  3. Who cares. Everyone will only see the rear of it anyways
  4. Far out that's keen. I used to see this car around a bit before he sold it. It sounded like a jet. http://www.australianstreetcar.com.au/photogallery/issue-6---adam-bonsalls-ve-Bogan special -60th-anniversary-sedan.html Ran him a few times in my old WRX. He wasn't happy when I was in front
  5. What a wild looking beast!
  6. It would be cheaper just to buy an aftermarket unit. Also less hassle upgrading to later maps.
  7. Ahh ok. He wasn't going very fast when I saw him :D
  8. Yeah Munchies is great! Was there a couple of weeks ago. Love the Mad Max car that usually goes. Plus some nice old Corvettes. I saw that SUPDUP the other day on Beaudesert rd. Not sure what the plates supposed to mean.
  9. Happy Birthday superfly!

  10. How long ago was it that you paid this price?
  11. What did you pay for yours? I got quoted $748 plus $16.50 for delivery. That's direct from PWR.
  12. I got my first Falcon in Oct 2011. A brand new XR50. Prior to that since getting my license in 87, I've owned a string of Hyundai's and then a string of Subaru's. My last car was a 99 WRX which was extensively modified. I had it for about 11 years. Sold it to get the XR50. It was a great car but I outgrew it. I no longer wanted to spend money racing and fixing it up all the time. Here's a clip of it.
  13. Yeah I know it includes an oil flush but is that really necessary to do every 2 years? Sure I could replace the stock one every couple of years without the flush but as mentioned it could still fail. I do about 18K a year. I'll be keeping this car for a number of years so I'll have to go the PWR way. Once I buy the kit, I'll just find someone locally to fit it for us. Might get the Ford dealer to do it for me.
  14. I'm currently thinking about replacing the stock heat exchanger for a PWR. It is worth getting the braided lines? And who in Brisbane (prefer Southside) could fit it up for me? I did check with Elite Automotive but they said to replace it with a stock one every 2 years and flush the oil. Cost around $900. I'd rather just spend some extra now than paying $900 every 2 years.
