The throttle body is before the injectors therefore fuel will never get near it to clean it. the grime isan oily residue which comes from the crankcase venilation port.

Is your car heavily modded? if not the standard bosch blow off valve will be all you will need

The move to v6 will also be because ford will be able to better package the front end of the car and aim for a higher NCAP safety rating. The euro 4 emmisions targets they could easily get with the current engine with a better intake setup and the addition of direct injection
