Hey Ive tried everything. Strangely I think that selecting first and then reverse helps a bit but Im still not happy. I never used to have this problem. The cars only just hit 16000kms. As far as Im concerned its a new car and it should run like a new car. Ill be taking it to ford on wedneday

Hey. I might have to take it into ford to get it checked out. All the other gears are fine. Its just the reverse that's being a pain. Not having any problems at all with the electrical system I know what your saying but Im talking about putting the car into reverse whilst stationary! And Im sure the clutch isnt stuffed because the other gears are perfect.

Hi Guys. I was wondering if anyone could help me... I have a 2008 FG Xr6 Turbo Ute just going on 16000km. Just recently ive been having a probem with the 6-speed manual gearbox/clutch. The only way I can get it to go into reverse is to sit there an jam it into gear? And when it finally goes into gear I can hear gears being crunched! Does anyone know why it would be doing this??
