so yes I couldnt help myself and went with the rims from first post. $1000 cash for rims 1000kms old, new tyres that are correct size and decent offset it was hard to pass up such a bargain and I really like them, pics dont do them justice due to the black not showing and the silver looking like chrome in sun, just needs to be lowered a bit as its stock height atm but I do enjoy clearing gutters, also painted the centre caps writing from light blue to red, looks much better

Why are the offsets bad, like would they stick out too much or?? cause they are cheap and real nice rims, and what are good offsets to look for then? also below just added a photoshop of speedy rs fin theres some on ebay for 800 with tyres but are 225/30/20 so would prob need to change to 245/30/20 would match my red momo steering wheel, red trim xr and stitch centre console, red trim xr mats, and red trim xr cloth seats lol thanks for the replies!! all helps

thanks for the replies guys. Yes they are 275/30/20, my mistake. Also yes would look into lowering it but not too much as I hate the inconvenience of a super low car and dont really want to spend another 500-1000 lowering it, blocks might be a good option. Im leaning towards the giovanna's too as I like the classy look....even though I am a p plater :| budget is 1500 with tyres max that's why im looking second hand

Also the black ones rear are 275/40/20 will these fit ute at stock height? please ignore my dodgey photoshop too. also trying to keep everything legal (nsw). hi, I am going to purchase an alpine headunit to put next to the cigarette lighter in my ba falcon unte. I have also purchased some 6.5" splits. My question is: Is it possible to have the choice of what cd player I want to use so the speakers are wired to both the alpine h/u and the original cd player?, or will installing the alpine headunit make the original cd player un-useable? thanks

hi, I bought some wheels and tyres of ebay for my 2005 ba XL ute (stock 215/60/16). The wheels/tyres I bought are F 225/40R/18 88W Dunlop Le Mans, R 245/40R/18 93W Dunlop Le Mans. Would someone be able to tell me if these would be illegal(also for insurance purposes) in NSW? if so could I and how much does it cost to get an engineered cert.? thanks

hi, im looking at buying a headunit to be put in the tissue holder of my ba ute. I would probably connect it through the cars aux input with the ford audio booster (therefore still able to use steering wheel controls). My question is will the sound quality be less than that of wiring the headunit in to the speakers. Because I am looking at getting some quality speakers such as rainbow or focal and dont want to get them if they wont run good quality sound. Also does anyone know the mounting depth in the doors for speakers?(6.5" splits?)

I have bought a fascia for the icc and was wondering how to take the old one out and put the new one in. mainly whether just the fascia can come off or if I have to pull the whole icc out? also if anyone knows of an helpful tutorials that could help to, thanks

Im looking at an used icc on ebay for my ba ute with a colour screen and 6 stacker to replace my standard screen and single cd. The icc does not come with a bem so would I be able to use my original one for the colour screen icc? Both single zone aircon. Also I hav read that there is a mecury thing in the icc and if tilted then fited it can wreck all electrics in the car, is this true? And how long and $ for local ford dealer to reprogram icc?

hi, I own a ba xl ute (see pic) and it is very high at the back especially, so im looking for some suspension ideas either for the full car or just the back, preferably legal, and without spending too much, so has anyones got any pics of an xl lowered...with details, or any suggestions??

I have a stock ba xl ute and wanting to put in a budget system of some replacement 5x7's, probably amp,tweeters, and a media player in the bottom of fascia above gear knob(eg alpine one that plays from ipod, usb etc) and I was wondering whether its possible to use the media player and stock ford cd player through the same speakers? thanks in advance

hi, just wondering whether it would matter that I am not the original owner, cause when I bought my ute in shockwave second hand there was slight flaking, also do I need to do it within the apparent 5yr warranty time? thanks
