Hey all, I'm looking at getting some new wheels for my car as I am not a big fan of the XHP Sabers that are currently on it. I am currently looking at the Speedy Wheel Cheetahs in the hyper silver. I have a 300rwkw BA Mkii. It definately has 300rwkw as I have seen the dyno papers but was told on purchase that it had deka 60's in it. I was wondering if there was a way to check or is it a pretty hard job?

Just wondering what coils should I get? I have a BA mkII turbo 304rwkw. What is the part number? I've read something about AA and AB, so was just wondering as I would like to get this sorted ASAP.

So back on topic. Is there any way to check the coils to see if they are buffeted? And how easy are they to replace yourself?

Yeh a bit. How much would a new set of coil packs set me back? Is there a way to tell if they are worn? and how easy is it to do yourself?

Hey all, Went out an industrial area near me to give the BA a bit fun. In third gear at around 5000rpm the battery failed. The engine died and the battery and oil lights came on, the steering and brakes also were basically non-existant. Tried it again last night to see if I got the same and this time it happened in 2nd gear. The car starts back up fine though. Was wondering if anyone knows what the problem is?

I recently purchased my XR6T from someone interstate. After recieving the car I have noticed that my radio does not pick up stations well. I get a lot of fuzz for all channels and can barely hear them. The previous owner said he may have knocked the aerial plug whilst installing the pods. As far as I know the car has no external aerial, so could it just be the plug or is it a common problem?

I'm currently away on holidays where I don't get Internet signal. Sending this quickly on a wifi I'm driving through. I get back Australia day so will pay then.

Hey all, There is probably an easy explanation but I have no idea what. My interior light works when I press the interior light button, but when the light is off and I open the car door, it doesn't come on. I have tried pressing the button and then going out of the car and shutting the door but the light stays on. What could it be?

Hey all, I've done a search on the forum but couldn't find what I was looking for. My car goes into the cop shop tomorrow to get it's details written down as I have bought interstate. I've heard from my mates that most of the people who do the checks are young women who don't know what they are looking for. To make the process quicker I thought I might find the engine number for them in advance, but I can't find it in the engine bay. I found the Vin number and the plate with the paint code and "Engine Y" or whatever it was, but can't find the engine number. Help would be appreciated

Hey all I pick up my new ba xr6t from the transport Monday. Before I register it it has to go to the local cop shop to check for defects. It currently has a drift bov on it so I was wondering what would be the harm in taking it off before they check the car out. Would I need to block the hole or will it be alright for a few kms?

Diff mount the mechanic said. But this car has had a new diff in and diff gears, seen paper work. The owner said the problem was the urathane bushes causing the thump. Is this because the urathane bushes are harder?

Hey all, Currently looking at buying an xr6t, found a really good one but has two faults. He has the urethane bushes in the car, and he said when he slows down he sometimes hears a thump. Would this be the urathane bushes as they are really rigid? Also, it has new diff gears, etc, but a dyno place found that the rear diff mount is cracked. How severe is this? Thanks
