ok whats the 710 cap?? and what can he do to fix it until he gets a service next week hehe. . . . . (its an auto)

my boyfriend drives a ba xr6 turbo his engine has recently been making a weird squeeling noise on start up and been loosing power with the boost.. he recently changed his coils over and now when he get at about 5 and a half revs the motor buckles and feels like its jumping. . . . does anyone have any idea what this could its a very frustating problem thank you
