    That ute is almost identical to mine, altho I have got more extras such as cabin tidy, mats, scuff plates, seat covers etc.. Also got the tech pack and the triple Hiro gauges.. Driveline is stock and it looks like I have to sell.. If you want to know more, send me a PM..

  9. I have got a 09 FG Turbo ute, it was at Super Super Low when I bought it. However it was just a tad too low for lugging the dirtbike and camping gear around so I sold the SSL setup and bought SL springs (front and back).. Well guess what, moving house and the driveway is deceptively steeper then anticipated and now it looks like the ute needs to go to back to the XR Stock level.. So, here is my offer.. I have got KING SPRINGS Super Low (SL) front springs and rear leaves to suit FG UTE, purchased from wholesale suspension less then 12 months ago.. I will swap these for STOCK XR6/8 Front springs and rear leaves So if you want to lower your ute, please PM me for heights etc and maybe we can organise something.. BarKer

  11. I got the $138 Logitech GT, bang for buck value on that one.. Tsukuba in the RX7 has got me stuffed for the 2nd online tournament series.. I keep getting massive oversteer I can't get rid of so lapping too slow :( Got 2 bronze's left in the A to Super license.. it is embarrassing but I can't zigzag the cones...

  13. And remember to keep an eye on your rear mirror when you hit the brakes as the tinted taillights don't exactly light up too well for the people behind you...
  14. Engineers are only good for making things complex, unreliable and design things without thinking on how someone would try to maintain, fix or sometimes even use... They are in a little world of their own.. Seriously, if anyone even tries the so called mobile phone trick, then I would recommend handing in the keys to the XR6T and buy a Prius as punishment..

  17. Heya, any of you guys heard of a shop that does dyno runs for $45 out Maitland way ? Can only do them at certain times due to noise regulations.. Heard about it lastnight, but it was a big one and I sort off managed to forget most of the details.. Cheers,

  20. I think it is old school thoughts... The old days when they had carbies leaning out on the furthest cylinders could be an issue and even for the early injection systems which used throttlebody injection problems could arise.. But surely multipoint injection systems made leaning out a problem of the past..
  21. You don't need a full sized spare.. Can't rotate the tyres as most are directional nowadays and as stated above, the wheel will get scuffed and the tyre will go off.. The concept of a full sized spare is like a dash protector mat which is old school.. We only want them because that is what we are used to.. And really, you can be angry and complain.. but surely you would have read the glossy pamphlet which clearly states that a matching spare alloy wheel is an option for all models...

    Tow Kit

    The genuine towbars when fitted result in a huuuuuuuge hole.. I went the aftermarket way and bought a 1250 KG rated bar which only requires about 1"x3" flap taken out from the bottom.. Can't even see it unless you are lying down.. Of course I am limited to 1250 KG's only... However, that is more then adequate for me..
