  2. Well done Mate!!! Top looking ute too!!! What Wheels do you have on it? Ben
  3. Im changing mine on my FG F6. I know many people don't change them and many tuning shops say you don't "need too".. But it's the don't "need to" that I worry about... Better to be safe than sorry... Ben

    Fg F6 Rims

Thanks nelsonian101, Yeah have thought about this however: * Kumho KU36: No 245 sizes in 19 inch * Federal 595RSR: Not sizes in 19inch * Toyo T1R: No 245's in 19inch. * Yoko ADS08's: only rated to 89W * Dunlop Direzza's: No sizes in 19inch * Bridgestone RE11: The only option in this list... The only other tyres I have thought of trying are: Nitto NT05 or Federal EVO Ben
  5. Hey Guys, Anyone know if you can get "good copies" of the standard FPV FG wheels (not the argents) in 19"10? My 245 tyres are just not cutting it at the rear and I need to put bigger rubber on the back. Wanted to keep the car looking as standard as possible, so I didn't really want to change to a different set of wheels. Thanks Ben
  6. Hey Mate, Plenty of people are running 275's on the rear with their FG's with no problems. However, think you will need a 10" rim to run 275's. Karl from Hiro performance had some good deals on Federal Evo's a little while back. He has them on his ute and told me that over all grip had greatly improved over the standard tyers and his running with over 400rwkw. I will be changing over to these shortly or if I can find some in the country, the Nitto NT 05. Ben
  7. Common problem mate, even with Traction control on they still do that if you floor it off the line... Wait till have your car tuned.... Stupid 245 series tyers... They really needed wider rims with 265-275 standard. Ben
  8. Hey Mate, Currently I have done a Process West Cooler and pipes, XR8 Air Box and tune with around 325rwkw. Next I will be adding: Custom 3.5inch exhaust by exhaust innovations Process West Surge tank and pump 1000cc injectors from Hiro Performance Atomic Valve Springs Ben
  9. Thanks Paul, did you use the Atomic ones? Ben
  10. At this stage around 370RWKW+ (hopefully...) going off what I have seen from other peoples' upgrades, it doesn't seem that many people have upgraded their Valve springs on the FG's. I know the standard ones should be fine at this power level, however was thinking of longevity.. Or would this be just a waste of money as the standard ones are fine? Ben
  11. Hey Guys, Just finalising all parts needed on my next set of Mods to my FG. Has anyone changed their valve springs on their FG's? Just wanted to know if these are something I should be adding to my list as well. Ben

    Fg F6 Ute

Can't wait to have these injectors installed in my car.. Come on May 1!!!!! Ben
  13. Signed up and paid today.. Just have to get the next stage of my Mods completed in time... Looking forward in catching up with everybody. Ben
  14. Hey Mate, Your still running with the standard Turbo aren't you? You would be in Tier 2 if that's the case and I pretty good chance in taking it out I would of thought? Ben
  15. Thanks for the offer mate, will be in contact.
  16. Hey Guys, Does anyone have this set up around the Brisbane area? If possible, I would like to meet up just to see how firm it is? Ben
  17. Ha Ha, I was wondering why you have been Chauffeur driven of late... Ben
  18. Thanks for the Feed back. I went to the Main distributer's Head office for TEINS in Brisbane the other day to enquire about the Teins. Now, I may have got the sales person on an off day, however when enquiring about the suspension he really was not much help, almost like he didn't want to sell them to me??? One word answers, very little detail explained etc... He even told me that the edfc was a waste of time and only there for, and I quote "tossers who like gadgets and pushing buttons." What is it with some businesses today? You would think that they would be keen as mustard to sell some products? Not only was he customer service crap, he put SH*$T on his own product!!!???? As a sales manager myself, I would shoot any of my staff who gave that level of service. Ben
  19. Hey Guys, I am looking at improving the handling on my FG F6 and would like to get some opinions. I don't do track days (work car), however I enjoy spirted runs through twisty roads and the current standard suspension feels like a boat and does not give you much confidents pushing it into corners IMO. After speaking to a few different places, I have been told to look at white line sway bars and Tein suspension. I see a lot of people on this forum are using TEIN and seem to be happy, however just wanted to know how hard is the suspension for everyday driving? I am a rep and drive my car around a fair bit and was worried that the tein set up might be a bit hard for everyday use. Had an STi in the past and at the end of every week my back was sore. Would going with this set up be an over kill for my use? Ben
