Hey guys, I am considering upgrading my fuel system and adding an additional 044 pump to my process west surge tank.. One concern, as it is my company car I’m a little concern how load the twins will be.. The whine of the single 044 atm is tolerable, however how much more noise will the additional pump make? Can anyone give me feed back on their experiences with this set up? I was trying to hunt down the higher flowing 413 pump, however looks like they aren’t making them anymore. Any feed back would be great! Cheers Ben

Well I had the privilege of being able to take this beast for a quick run today.. Bloody hell, I’m in love!!! Anyone who says big turbo’s aren’t streetable obviously haven’t been in a well set up and tuned car.. One of the best things about this car is how well it drives off boost. You can just cruise around quite comfortably. Then, when you give it a bit of revs and once it hits just over 3000rpm all hell breaks lose… Ha Ha I had soooo much fun… was thinking of driving it home and keeping it, I really didn’t want to stop driving and hand back the keys to the very trust worthy Karl.. Thanks again for letting me drive it mate, you have one top, well sorted ride!!! Very jealous… Ben

As other people have said, return it back to stock and wait till you get a tune...

Hey Mate, Same thing happen to me on my FG. Like you said, as soon as you came to a stop it locked up?? Only when you put revs on it loosen up...?? Took it back to Ford and they fixed it up.. Said something about air in the power steering oil or something?? I was interstate at the time and a mate picked up my car for me so on never got the chance to question the service department about it.. Ben

Any reason why you went with a full 3inch system? You wouldn't have had much gain over the standard system? Would have seen the same gains just changing your cat... Ben
