    Toyota 86

Have been thinking about this car for a while... Have driven one and yes, VERY SLOW.. However they handle and drive really well.. If you read up on them, they were pretty much designed as a blank canvas for people to do what they want to them.. I think this car is a big win, and there is already a cult following.. Just check out some of things that the shops have done in the US...
  2. That's a point... I wonder if United would sell by the drum..??? Be a hell of a lot cheaper than what I and paying for Sucrogen
  3. You will think your car has lost 40rwkw after you have fitted them! lol They are a great tyre..

Trans does take a little longer to come to temp with the external cooler. However, just a matter cruising for a little while before getting up it. I have now done around 18k Km on the built box and transcooler with no issues..
  5. I've got some on the way... We are planning on doing back to back test with the 2 different fuels.... Be interesting to see the comparison.. Been using their oils since my engine was built and have been very happy... John, let me know when you plan in ordering some.. Might be more effient for us to go halves in a drum
  6. Hey Guys, Do you think it would be possible to fit a 315/35/17 drag radial under a FG sedan? Or am I kidding myself?
  7. Martini FTW... BTW John, stop messaging them on FB, I want to try their E85 first... lol
  8. Do it mate, you'll love it! Just remember tuning cars is like drugs, you'll will keep wanting more!!!!!!!
  9. Yeah, his car was tuned on Eflex it runs great when he fills up at the servo where he used the fuel they tuned it with. However when he fills up at a different location it runs pretty rough.. The Elfex tune he does have was pretty conservited as well. Not many of Tuners up in Brisbane are keen to tune cars with Eflex, majority of cars up here just use Sucrogen... Great stuff, but obviously too bloody experience and inconvenient to run in a daily driven car. Still can't believe how the united stuff is produced up here and there is only 2 united servos in Brisbane and none of them sell E85? Go figure......??????
  10. Hope all goes well mate, you are one very patient man... NT01 max size is 18" I would look at the NT05 for your 20's. I have been very happy with these, they still lose traction from low speed boosting it however from a roll on they hook up quite nicely.. If you really serious, check out the NT05R or NT555r. I believe they have options in 20's. Don't know how they would go in the wet though, however seems the guys in the US think they ok?
  11. Bump... How's this coming along?
  12. I have asked this question before, however the boys running Eflex do you have much dramas using different servos? We only have a handful of servos in Brisbane with it (No United up here), however I have worked out with my job that I could make it work with the areas I visit during the week.. However speaking to a mate up here who runs with it, he does notice a difference when filling up a different servos. To the point where the car does run a little rough... Do you boys have the same problem in the southern states? Cheers Ben
  13. Don't get the lag talk on the F6 turbo? I thought it was very well suited for the car.. Hell, my GTX42 makes 25psi just over 3000rpm.. The big capicity of our motors are really suited for larger turbos.. Get into an Evo or Subby with larger turbos and then you will experience lag!
  14. OK, I know I am fully sick and everybody wants to be me.. But why when I post on this forum does it take like half a page up? Or should I just have another drink?
  15. Can't believe someone in here just said they can't stand the smell of it....
  16. E85 will help... But I didn't find mine too laggy when I had the standard turbo.. Yes the XT is more responsive off the mark, but I wouldn't call it light and day...
  17. NSW = Chev Badge only Expensive Daewoo S
  18. Sorry, did I just say that??? I blame Rum and The loss to the Blues tonight...
  19. Would had been better to grab her diff bush and shove a rubber one in there
  20. Maybe a little off topic, however are the standard MAP sensors known to fault?
  21. Good handset, however think you will find the issue you are having with sound in your current iPhone 4 is due to the polarity rings in the jack... Apple being the kunts they are, change the design of these and has forced some companies to change their headsets 3.5mm jacks to suit... this is why some branded headsets sound better from one handset to another..
