Consider yourself lucky.... I am currently building my mother a $700k house coz hers is falling down... give her $300 a week to supliment her income and cover any expenses for having our kids on occasion, on top of that paying all the household bills, as well as signing nearly half a million dollars over to her of my dads super and insurance and setting her up with my financial advisor so she’s set for life..... and all she does is whinge to my family that I am horrible to her and make her look after her grandkids (we don’t theyre at school and day care all week so she has them on occasion and we live together atm so she’s there but physically does nothing but lay in bed all day, which is what she’s done for the last twenty years, probably why she’s 130kgs and 5ft 2), send texts family and friends saying how much we are assholes (accidentally sends them to me by mistake all the time) and accuses me of trying to take everything and put her in a nursing home (a week after I signed a waiver to say I wanted none of my dads money and it’s never even been spoken of that I wanted a cent). And yet here I am still building her a house and making sure she’s a happy little vegemite all the time. Being the bigger person is a I ❤️ Bananas CARNT of a thing.

Well... years ago my mum got me a food processor blender like the one below... I used the blender once to make scrambled eggs (which I then just used a fork for after) and the processor lots. the processor chops, slices, blends, combines, etc etc all in one. The blender, by today’s standards, is mainly ok for juice making etc. saying that there are a lot of machines which will do all of it, but for a price. The blender combo I had was cheap like under $200 and did both, they still exist I’m fairly certain, and it went forever... in fact I still have it and it works fine after 2 babies and a heap of baking summary... if I had to pick one, food processor all the way imo for our needs.

Feeling like a bit of a cook up so got some chilli-lime & honey-soy drumsticks on the go with some scalloped potato’s with bacon and garlic. Two chicken kiev breasts and a cordon Bleu... and got the base of a good mushroom gravy on the go at the moment.

Would love that seclusion from neighbours.... but also couldn’t live as far out as you do without a beach or hills greenery to at least offset the huge commute daily (coz we have to work in the city area). (Adelaide relative distance taken into account, an hour and ten can get you almost anywhere). It’s like a desert out there, hot and dusty af.... although to be fair I’ve only ever spent a lot of time at the race track there so that’s what I’m basing it on. But it I can dig no one watching ya chit.... our last place bedroom window was next to our neighbours bedroom window... they copped way more than they bargained for in terms of noise LOL they must have either never done it or always done it in the lounge coz we didn’t hear em once... LOL

It’s so true though..... this is all coz some twat waffle architect thinks he/she can design chit without knowing the site, the business they’re designing for and on top of that the companies rarely have enough input on how their business runs with the architect to actually make a decent design. Then the builder cbf coz they just want the completion, the trades just comply with the builder and no one gives a chit. I don’t know what happened to pride in your work....but I think it died the day they started to let people who went to uni for five years to study timelines and know how to do a spread sheet, tell tradespeople how to do their jobs. Its so frustrating and makes my life a nightmare. Now the poor contractor and I have to work together to rectify the issue that’s technically the builders fault for not picking up a violation of code but they get around it by stating all contractors are responsible for their stuff meeting compliance. And nothing happens until someone gets ripped in half by an auto gate or gets a roof Pannel fall on them or gets locked into a building during a fire. Meeing with 5 fire men today and they were also baffled at the minimum requirements for fire services on federal land. You don’t even have to have an alarm when a fire is detected to warn patrons... like legit ridiculous.
