Thanks keiffff.... I did run like during sports etc as I played a lot of sports til I was about 18... but never just “run” like as an activity. So I have great starting and stopping (HIT) type endurance but long runs (30mins and more) I haven’t ever done. Puff I actually went and got fitted recently for a proper pair and I must say these bad boys are super comfy so far!!!! Ugly as f*** but comfy LOL https://www.theathletesfoot.com.au/brooks-adrenaline-gts-22-d-womens-black-dianthus-silver.html

Not so much weights... but I’m starting running. I’ve always wanted to be a runner, but never had the body/fitness levels for it. So now I’m down 33kgs I decided nows as good a time as any to start working my way up to running. Starting with hurts of jogging then walking then jogging and increasing the time jogging each time. Gotta say, as someone who never ran/couldn’t coz I got to chunky, it feels really good!!!

That’s actually funny!!! So I have one civil project on this year... my god it’s boring. There’s only so much I can be entertained by concrete and steel work.

Sound good puff!!! So I was spoilt tonight... been really busy with work and I was home late, basically walked into dinner on the table. j@ cooked up some yummy chicken Kiev balls and steak and veg.... was amazing! On another note went up to Browns Brothers in Tanunda the other week and got some amazing local donuts. They have so many cool flavours and options and they were all amazing!!!

New pools aren’t that bad tbh
-
Nah we had already ordered this 6 months ago.... it’s meant to go in the pool area.., contractor availability and delays and the fact I randomly bought an XY have all held up the pool for probably another 6-12 months. But I still want it hahah

Well I was never “pro paddle” but I thought I’d give them a fair go.... yeah trash!

I used the paddles on my prado this morning for a whole 3 minutes before I decided I hate them.

Lol^^^^ Got the spicy cough as we speak.... feel pretty rough atm... but I also have a severe autoimmune disease which usually means my body fights viruses very well but I have loads of terrible symptoms from a flare of my disease.... seems to be fairly on form... I’d say it’s comparable to the flu... worse then a cold... but I’ve been sicker.

Gently gently is the way. I've been on a bit of a journey myself the last 4 months. After baby #1 I was super fit and lifting every day... then I thought I did a back injury.., any who after months of no gym and baby #2 I was finally diagnosed with a bone fusing, inflammatory autoimmune condition which medication has not helped. I decided in December, after finally hating the way I looked so much and feeling sh*t on meds, including daily pain meds, that a natural method would work for me as a start. 4 months later, some gym sessions and a solid diet of very limited sugar and calorie deficit... I’m 27kgs down, no pain meds (very infrequently anyway) and I somehow get better and better every time I get on the treadmill needing to challenge myself further to achieve the same HR. Feeling really good... probably wanna lose another 20 and really lean up, but at the same token, it’s all about how I feel rather than a goal figure. Started slowly lifting again also... and feeling good just gotta get some more consistency with a routine of going to the gym a minimum time per week.

🤣 j@ and I met racing our falcoooons back in the day... after baby #1 I was sad coz I traded a WRX with 300awkw for a kluger... so decided to take up drifting as a hobby.... broke lots of things and found it harder and harder to have time to take the car out... plus baby #2 was on the cards... so I sold it. Now I’m just an old lady with a Kakadu Prado and an XYGT I may or may not do skids in on Saturday nights... j@ already gave me the “really more tyres look” last weekend 😂😂
