  1. We have “bring your dog to work” days. There are a bunch of us with black and white Border Collies... it’s becoming a tribe at this point hahaha Flys growing up fast!
  2. This is an obscure post considering the context of this forum... but it’s a win for me so why not... Went to David Jones on a Friday evening and shopped in the fancy parts where people basically lick ya bum and everything is chained to the racks by alarmed collars. I have an event coming up and I wanted a dress and it’s been nearly a decade since I could walk into a designer store or sections and find anything that fits me let alone looks good. Well, everything I tried on I loved, which is so rare, because it fit!!! J@ was lovely at helping me decide and I got two of the dresses and then I made him buy some fashionable clothes (first time he’s worn linen) ... he loved that *yes that’s sarcasm*🤣 Walking into a designer store (which are always sized smaller than standard) and finding something off the shelf that fits (and not even in the large size) was a huge accomplishment for me.... and I have gone down a shoe size as well 🤔. All in all, 2 dresses accounted for well over half of the $2.5k bill, but I decided that it was a treat for the 45kgs I’m now down 🥰
  3. Moaning everyone! #inb4keif love a good anal violation before 8am on a Monday!!!
  4. Afternoon Keif! So the Border Collie is going well. J@ and her are in love and she’s just the most affectionate thing ever.... and at only 4 months old she can certainly jump (our beds nearly 1m high)...
  5. non alcoholic beer... what a waste 🤣🤣
  6. So I had a rockey month with loads of family birthdays, unhealthy eating, holidays .... but balanced it out with good food and exercise wherever possible. Finally jumped past the 40kg lost mark and heading steadily toward the 50kg loss as my next goal (always feels like the last step between goals takes the longest). I think my biggest take away, despite the obvious, is about moderation. Something I’ve never been particularly good at and something I have had to embrace. Through this whole time I haven’t stopped drinking, haven’t stopped eating sugar or carbs, haven’t stopped desert or fatty foods... I just make sure they fit into my daily intake, and if they don’t, I exercise more. With two parents who were morbidly obese their whole lives and kept a household of habits that reflected such, it’s something I’m so proud to say is now just habit for me. So onwards (or downwards) to the next goal! (not that I’m hell bent on the scales at this point to be fair, just happy to settle healthy) 🥰
  7. Been wanting a pair of RMs for ages... guess they’re kind of a staple in the wardrobe department when you’re in the construction management industry... wanker PM boots bahaha.... Also been wanting to get Azza in a pair (coz he looks like a man stud in them and I wanna jump his bones 🤣) Well lucky us we have RMs factory in Adelaide so popped down there and scored a bargain, in the right size as luck would have it!!!.... My pairs: 1. Custom ordered boot with wooden heel and oil resistant sole, custom leather finish and gold tags (someone obviously ordered them and didn’t like them or they didn’t fit)... $950 normal price - purchased for $399 2. Standard RM’s women’s yearling leather boot... $649 normal price - purchased for $499 Azza’s ... gorgeous looking limited edition leather finish boot ... standard price $749... paid $409 ...
  8. Oh that’s awesome Scotty!!! Yeah beautiful part of the world, I haven’t visited since school camp, but as the night comes over it’s even more gorgeous. Just took a walk through the Roos to get to dinner hahah
  9. Evening all.... In front of a fire enjoying a glass of red... at Halls Gap...
  10. Yeah they grow so fast hey!!!! Fanta keif ... yeah amazing what being 40kgs lighter gives you the ability to achieve
  11. Moaning keifffff .... Just finished a 17.5km walk (with some running parts) along the Torrens... Excited to take the pup along when she’s a bit bigger... graduated pup school this week 😍
  12. Meat and wine co on Currie St is great for a good steak keif ... and some of the places on gouger st are awesome Asian food
  13. One of the most captivating song and video combos I’ve ever seen.... I’m in love with this whole situation....
  14. Well I am a tad excited this morning... got some new work shirts and fit into a size 10-12 women’s now and in size 10 jeans and I was in a size 22 at my highest. Working hard and only just over 1kg to go before I hit a total of 40kg lost. If I had of been at this weight magically when I started in Jan I’d be stoked, but now I’m on the train I have another 10kgs or so I wanna loose to really get where I wanna be. But yeah overall feeling pretty happy and proud of what I’ve achieved in 6 months. 🥰
  15. We have a new style inverter reverse cycle system. Large 4 bed house... it’s going almost 24/7 ..3/4 of the year for the most part. It’s well oversized for the house due to aaron being a Pom and hating the heat... but it never works hard as we put so much investment into insulation. even on multiple days over 40 it’s ticking along like it’s not even working. Insulation has a huge amount to do with the output and usage of the aircon both in summer and winter. Your aircon output, regardless of size or style, will consume heaps of power if you have inadequate insulation due to temp losses. new reverse cycle inverter AC units are by far the most efficient of all refrigerated AC units, and evap isn’t even an option as we detest the humidity and they’re just crap on Adelaide hot hot days. Our power bill is pretty good for what we have... about half the amount of our old house which was smaller with asmaller ducted (Non inverter) aircon system.
  16. Oh Baffffyyyy... what’s new pussy cat!?!
  17. Well it only took a year ... but finally finished the back yard and all the troops (Human and K9) seem happy.
  18. So I’ve wanted a running buddy and unfortunately our bulldog is already on the wrong side of the life expectancy for a dog of her breed, not that she runs anywhere anyway hahaha... After much convincing, and he’s still not convinced LOL, j@ finally agreed to drive me out to a farm yesterday and get this little gem. I am fully aware how insane border collies are in regards to needing physical and mental stimulation which is why I chose her. great running buddy and a good family companion and super smart. She’s already doing super well with toilet training, whines when she needs to go, and we started with come, sit, down and paw today and she’s got it sorted. She’s also learnt (in only 3 meal times) she needs to sit before she will get her dinner. Very clever for 8 weeks old! We’ve decided to call her Fly ❤️.
  19. Afternoon keifff.... So I got a running buddy today....
  20. Tricep king mate. I have a goal to run every day in June. working out when I will exercise and pre planning time is key I think. managed to run yesterday arvo after work and then at 5.30 this morning and feeling good
  21. Played golf yesterday for the first time in a while... maybe 6 weeks. I cannot believe the difference in my “feeling” and how my body is after 18 holes. With my existing illness I generally have been writing it off to that, getting tired around the 14th then feeling like I’ve been hit by a truck for a week. This time after 18 I was ready for another 18. It’s absolutely amazing how 35kgs off effects your system in ways you don’t even anticipate. My goal is to exercise every day in June and really get going on the running thing, hopefully doing 20-30 minute runs most days by Christmas. Currently sitting lighter than I’ve been in 9 years and with another 5kgs I’ll be lighter than pre kids, so feeling really good
  22. Scotty you got that for me!!!?!?!? oh thanks pal!!!
  23. Best part about getting the school run done, no more driving for the day, time for beers hahaha
  24. Started the Monday off with a bit of this.... Now doing a bit of this....
