very true, but it is all about decision making... and also be mindful of peer pressure and the fact that even if you are being egged on doesnt mean you have to or should do things! I love my car and respect it, but I respect my and the other peoples on the roads lives more than that, and that affets the way I drive excessively. I think rather than look at how powerful the car is someones driving, look at the driver! I honetly dont know how to combat the problem though. I am baffled, I dont think education is the answer, coz if people can look at pictures and stories like this and still dont care then there isnt much point, restricting age limits and high powered vehicles to teens etc, isnt exactly fair for people who just like genuinely "tweeking" their vehicles and like working on their cars and getting good drag times and numbers on the dyno. I am baffled!!!

Just for the record, for all of you talking about restrictions on younger drivers etc, I am just getting on my fulls, had a new boosted up WRX when I was 16and have driven turbos ever since, and for the record I love my cars and class my self as a fantastic driver.... id be lying if I said I havent sped or done stupid things before, BUT saying this I have never had any driving infringements or accidents by my own fault, I like to think I am a very responsible and smart driver! and have proved as such over the last few years! I drive a lot of kms with my job, and have a fair bit of experience, and have had opportunitiies to practice off the road and smart about where and when I chose to hoon! THERE IS A TIME AND PLACE FOR EVERYTHING!!!!! and when people are in the car with you and when there are peoples lives at risk other than yur own its not the time! You can control your own fate but dont try and control others! DON'T PENALISE THE SMART YOUNG ONES COZ THE STUPID YOUNG ONES CANT CONTROL THEMSELVES!

Oh well is that right Adriana, its not my fault we got stuck behind flouncies, and u guys turned the wrong way so u got to play a game of catch up. AS I RECALL DAZ, we did a similar thing going to "Barossa" where u Adriana couldnt keep up, well that was until jets dodgy job at tightening a fuel filter came to head!....but still took u guys about ten minutes to catch up!.... LIKE SANDS THROUGH THE HOUR GLASS, THESE ARE THE DAYS OF OUR LIVES hahahahah :wacko:
