I'm not condoning stupid driving... but some of us enjoy seeing what time our car gets down the 1/4 mile... if u pull up next to sum1 at the lights and race that's what its about!... so for people that enjoy that... I think its needed for somewhere to do it... malala isnt for everyone... mates got an old school car that he built for straight lines (wouldnt last a turn at speed at malala)... where can he go other than interstate to see what the engine he built does? SO LIKE I DID SAY ZAP!!!! I'm not condoning stupid behaviour or racing and hooning... just think it wouldbe nice for a place that is badly needed in SA... hooning is a fine line... if the weather is wet and you spin the wheels on take off even a tiny bit over ere on take off...u can get done... even if your not a "HOON"... do cars get crushed in other states etc?

Here's the thing... im not to familiar on the exact law or if it's just for SA or Australia wide... But I think now that in SA drag racing is an actual criminal offence and cars are now being crushed.. can anyone elabarate about the criminal offence thing... as before I believe it was a traffic offence? is it like that in other states? I personally think it isnt particularly fair over here as we don't even have a drag strip... the closest one is heathcote (8 hour drive). I'm not condoning stupid behaviour on the roads... but I think it's unfair to penalise genuine car enthusiasts by not havin places to "stretch our legs"... It's like tellin Michael Jordan if he picks up a basketball he's going to go to jail. lets be fair.... everyone on here boosted their cars up for a reason... personally I want to go fast...speed is my thing...and I love getting agood time at the strip... and the government is telling me I have to drive 8 hours to go to a place where I can... in SA our premier has never even held a drivers licence... so I don't know how much hope we have... Whats the situation in other states??? And whats the criminal offence stuff about?? Please elabarate if any of you can....
