Ye,.. these cars have a good standard system... after you press the button twice to lock its then alsoimobolised and you can open the door with akey... but I dont believe you can even start it wih the key until you press unlock again. O r that was the theory beind it apparently (acordning to my ford dealer-so who knows? lol) The system I had the wrx was good... unless you knew the password youcouldnt stat the car...3 wrong passwords and the car shuts down and has to be towed to subaru to get the car rebooted... although... sucked when you hadnt driven it in a while and forgot the code lol...oops
