some oils go blacker and some stay more honey colourse longer... depends what kinda oil is used... but at a guess id agree with buffy... I change my oil every 5000 kms and I havent had an issue...

yes... but the amount of times I have heard of a wa wa story of someone puting a heavier clutch in a t5.....and the box blows after they give it a slight bit of sh*t.... then they fork out the money to put an auto or a 6spd in it...same as all things mechanical... you can replace the weakest link.(clutch).. but then there is always another new weak link... and it is a matter of time and driving style as to when it is exposed... look at the sheer size of the box...but I suppose it depends what you want the car for and how you drive...

Ye... if your not getting a proper spark there is nothing to burn the fuel in the combustion chamber...so that could explain the rich exhaust gasses and the missing...you could have a few bum spark plugs... how long since they been changed? oh could be coil packs if theyre past their used by... but try spark plugs first.

The gt I had did the same thing(6 speed manual)... and same with my ba 4 speed... no biggy... it just rolls on coz your still in drive and then wen you flick it to neutral and start it again just rolls keeps going...

You need a flash tuner to save the tunes that your tuner will put in your car... so yes!!! You can use a lap top etc... but most of the time boxs r easier and most common. and also... just incase you didnt know.. you need a tune for any of those mods... or else they wont do jack sh*t... or you will blow up your motor coz it will over boost... Even putting a pod filter on an xr6t (these cars can be pedantic) and not tuning it to have it on ... can cause over boosting which can cause your engine to blow up in extreme cases. You should have a convo with some of us out on that cruises... dont be afraid to ask questions... we wont bite!

ye... I agree tab.... but the thing is... I know you guys are 40 and probably great drivers..(mayb its just SA) but there are loads of 40ish driver I see every day who got no clue!!!!! My mum is one of em!!!!! Never had proper lessons or been talked through road rules... I mean merging is a huge gripe of mine!!!... IF YOU MERGE YOU DONT SLOW DOWN YOU GO THE SAME SPEED AS THE TRAFFIC YOU ARE MERGING INTO!!!!! WHY DONT PEOPLE GET IT!!!!! THEY STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF A MERGING LANE IN A 100KMPH ZONE!!! WTF!!!!... YES TAB I DO NEED A HUG ...now I have little bits of steem coming out... merging makes me mad!!! ahaha

Ye...... I drive a lot for my job.. so ye.. I see it frequently.... Dont get me wrong.. im not saying once you hit 40 your a crap driver!... but most of the people on here are car enthusasts so you obviously enjoy driving... im talking about the other 90% of the population who only use driving as a mode of transport and don't care about how they drive or the car they drive!

OK ...Here's the thing... I was driving today as usual... and it must have been idiot day or something... but everyone was cutting me off.. and people weren't merging right etc etc...there were at least 5 close calls to accident I saw...and 2 accidents! Well.. it dawned on me... they were 90% older people... say over 50... and a couple say in their late 30's.... This brought me back to a huge topic I believe should be promenent.... Testing Once you Reach 50/60/70etc! Now when my mum went to get her licence all she had to do was go to the police station and go to the desk, ask the cop, go for a 5 minute drive and POW she had her licence! Forgive me for being ignornt, but I had to go through so much crap to now get my full licence (hopefully) next month! And failed my first p's test coz I indicated when leaving a kerb for 4 seconds not 5... I just think times have changed and some people have never been taught how to drive properly... so I think maybe driving tests should be mandatory when you hit say 40, then 50, then 60 and every 2-3 years after that... My main concern (working with a lot of elderly), I find that a lot of them drive...and OMG!!! would not want to run into them on the road!!!... I have issues with young people unneccisarily acting like tools on the road... but OMG!!! THESE ELDERLY PEOPLE CAUSE SO MANY ACCIDENTS!... Not long ago on one of our expressways an elderly man merged into a 90km/hr zone doing 20km/hr and cut straight infront of a semi... ofcourse the semi got blamed! and the media played it up as this poor old grandpa blah blah.. when there is an accident involving two cars and one is a p plater.. and one is a elderly person... the kid seems to cop the blame (media wise) even though its not always the case... I'm certainly not saying young drivers are all innocent!!!!!!!!coz we know theyre not!!! But I think that once you hit 60 you should have driving test... aswell as the vision test etc that I believe are manditory once you hit a certain age.. just coz you can see, doesnt mean you have the fast reflexes and sensory perception to drive a vehicle on the road!... Well... now I've had my bitch... please put you 2 cents in!

Ye... it was a good set up though... I mean 3 tries and your out was abit harsh I thought...considering I'm a dumb ass and people who have fat fingers may have pressed the wrong numbers by accident... it was good... but in case of needing to get away from somewhere fast... it took sooooo long to get started!
