  1. If something has higher compression ratio then it cannot be nearly identical. There are many ancillary devices that are different. Eg. intake and exhaust manifolds, injectors, fuel pressure regulators, exhaust valves in the cylinder head, sumps, pistons are different on some models, con rods are different on some models, cams are different on some models and valve springs are different on some models. The best of all the N/A’s is the latest model.
  2. My dad used to say this every day.
  3. Can I ask... as a PC unsavvy wench.... why do companies always use dell. we have dell PCs at work and they’re chit like actual chit. I didn’t think dell made good computers coz of the impression I’ve got from our work computers over the last ten years. Or are my company just being tight arses?
  4. Depends what model it came out of to begin with as they can vary. The Turbo Barra is a different engine to the N/A Barra to begin with incase you weren’t aware. Best of luck.
  5. ^^^ I was looking for the “this thread is useless without pics” but could find it so that will do.
  6. Lol puffgoat genuine question.... how the feck do you even remember what day it is? That was like the hardest thing for me when I was home with the rat bags. I wouldn’t be able to tell you what day of the week it was. My mums still like that... the lazy witch lol
  7. Puff becomes so energy obsessed we drive past and there’s just a field of cats on hamster wheels hooked up to his house and him rocking around in a scientists coat like the guy from the human centipede. Moaning all btw lol Anyone here???? Congrats lolol
  8. @MBAF when you start flying planes again be sure to drop a heap of oil over Puffs place... ill pm you with coordinates in all seriousness I ddI just think it may be beneficial coz it seems to be such a large conversation topic. That way it’s almoat a trackable and relevant subject all put it one place for those who have an interest in it, that was all.
  9. Is it just at the drivers side like in a localised position? If so you could go to an upholstery place and they could make you up a flip out guard like a scuff guard similar to the 4wds have in the boot to flip down over the rear bar. If done right it could look Schmick and be barely noticeable.
  10. Maybe @Rab and @k31th should create a solar thread? Then these genuine life issues can be discussed in depth with thought out hypothesis and data tracking.
  11. Nah that’s just coz ya treat em mean to keep em keen LELELEL
  12. Lolol ok to be fair j@ always orders me flowers randomly... I never ask for them... but it’s really sweet when I see the flower man turn up randomly. The birthday week thing is a long running joke where on my first birthday I was with j@ I tried to convince him I had a week long birthday as a gag... it stuck.... it’s just a little joke we have... and he says the same chit in august when it’s his birthday lol. Edit: except he asks for extra blow jobs not flowers and ice cream in bed LOL
  13. J@ is literally the opposite of whipped.... much to everyone who knows me professionallys surprise... he’s the one who very much wears the pants in our relationship and always has, which is how I like it. And yes yes I have a birthday week coz I’m a damn princess. LEL
  14. Thanks but it’s Monday.... but thanks and also get Fhukd hahahaha
  15. Considering I’ve had to come home sick today from work (which never happens) I think the likely hood of that is actually quite high lol
  16. J@ is a sweety pie.... 20 Tulips.
  17. Morning all Woke up to a packed lunch for today.... j@ is a legend Also these arrived last night
  18. The only way you could have interpreted that was a financial statement and nt in reference to the environmental impact was the word "resources" which isn't actually necessarily in reference to monetary costs. He doesn't reference recouping any financial aspects only "ENERGY SPENT" not "money spent".
  19. Yes but everyone is referencing the financial gains, which is not what he was talking about. Either way, solar panels have a lifespan, they need to be replaced.... so the financial and environmental impact isn't as insignificant as what its conceived to be. fyi.... not arguing the relevance of solar panels... and granted most people don't get them for the environmental benefits associated and mainly for financial.... but I just found arronm to be relevant for once... which was probably the most shocking thing of all.
  20. neither of you are understanding perhaps. He's talking about the irony of people who get solar to help the earth, nothing to do with solar rebates, paying the money back etc. Manufacturing a product, with lifespan, to generate energy to save the earth, but using the "unclean" energy to manufacture the products in the first place. And actually those things are slightly different imo. Investment properties pay their own mortgages plus around 20%, plus long term property growth, plus enables me to get a large portion of my tax back and have an income stream set up for when I retire.... I'd say that's a bit different to solar panels
  21. Funny coz you’re actually right for once.
  22. We sat around a table with my uncles and aunties (in their 60s) on Saturday and they were discussing their solar graphs and how many kws they get blah blah... made me realise this place has severely gone down hill... to the nursing home... of late LOL. J@ and I got in the car and we’re like “omfg this is what the forum convo sounds like in real life... we’re never discussing this in person again”
  23. Yes us 30 year olds can google.... it’s simply mind blowing!
