Whole front is exposed at driveways and then a path to each front door made from the bricks we kept from the old house ❤️ so you have to walk on the old to get to the new (considering my Nonno and dad both put their blood sweat and tears into the house for over 60 years I wanted something sentimental) then there are three garden beds with some light planting next to the paths. back yard has zip track blinds all around the alfresco and then all fake turf and a swim spa in the back yard.

Things have been moving slow because people can’t listen to instructions properly hahaha.... Just detail stuff I’m really fussy about that hasn’t been done properly so is being redone, not the end of the world. the painters are cracking on at the moment, then it’s floors, then the rest of the cabinetry and concrete outside and we’re basically done.

This has gotten weird, even for me 😂

Nah he just quizzed me as to why our old saucepans won’t do.... I kindly informed him we bought the set of 3 saucepans 10 years ago for $80 and randomly buy a new $30 frypan from coles every time it bows... so these will be much better and last ages... I don’t know if he believed me but Bcb just assisted hahaha 😂😂😂

I have never bought like a proper set of cookware before hey! Like always a saucepan here or there, mostly from coles or something 😂😂 so this is like a first for me hahah

Probably won’t mean a lot to most but I just got all these for the new place on Boxing Day sales and I’m pretty excited hahaha

Merry Christmas everyone!!! I spent Christmas in scrubs (it’s been a long time since I was in scrubs lol) as our youngest, who hasn’t been well since Monday, has suspected viral meningitis and deteriorated last night. He is home now and much brighter, but we have to keep an eye on him incase he deteriorates again. I’ve seen hundreds of cannulas put in before but when it happens to your own child who is clearly very unwell... the tears just fall out of your eyes involuntarily. 😢

I have been particularly sh*t the last 24 hours with a random flare up of my AS... heaps of pain... so I took some drugs at work today and wanted to stay upright through the afternoon... so I did some baking when I got home....

Decided to capitalise on the Chinese issues/support the seafood industry... got two crayfish this afternoon and made j@ jizz everywhere. Made lobster rolls with a homemade garlic sauce and then some fresh prawns.

The pictures don’t do it justice to be honest... it’s like the camera doesn’t pick up the pigment and they look very peachy... they’re actually more of a dusty light pink

Well the tiler has finished today... I love it!!! J@ meh’s it hahaha The mouldings on the front are also done now... ready for paint...

So we’re out for dinner and this woman in front (on a table full of women) is ordering and then she goes “oh just let me run back and check”... proceeds to go back to her table and have a discussion with her friends... after three minutes it was evident she was having a full blown social hour while we were still waiting in line to order... The waiter is looking at us waiting and says “sorry guys I just have to wait for this lady” ... after the 3-5minutes .... j@ walks up to the counter and goes “let Karen wait”. I lost my sh*t 😂😂😂😂

FREAKING LOLZ Its a temp pipe... the roofers are coming back to finish the flashings on parts of the party wall roof and also the front porticos after some of the mouldings go on... they will fit a proper pipe then 😂

Hahahah nah I’m lazy as lately Well the brick work got pressure washed this week... And the tiler is well on his way... he’s called me a bunch of times and sent me photos while tiling to make sure I’m happy with the placement of the tiles and everything he’s going... absolute legend!

Thanks stripes.... how’s your place? I wasn’t so happy when I had to load up 15x 17kg boxes of the tiles and drop them to the tiler ... thank goodness j@ helped me unload them coz I was knackered 😂😂😂 #unfitlife

Well the fluffy love palace has been ticking along... Doors, upstairs skirtings, architraves and all second fix carpentry is almost done... Cabinetry first fix is almost done... the laundry has some cool tricks, pop out ironing board styles I had all the fencing replaced including under fence plinths for retaining ... Tiler has started all the screed and prep work... Then... much to j@s disgust... I made a dramatic change... pink feature tiles in the ensuite and downstairs WC on the vanity wall which will look like this: so in essence: - white wall tiles - pink vertically laid tiles on feature vanity wall - Grey marble floor tile - gold tapwear - black shaker 2 pack cabinetry - white stone bench top My brush gold fixtures arrived today for the bathrooms.. I’m super stoked.
