    Hid'S

Who can I speak to for lighting upgrades on a new G6ET and another FG ute, also driving lights in a 4wd. You seem to be the only one I can find who knows what they are talking about. if you can find some time please email me at sam.rowe@petrolservices.com.au I would really appreciate it. Cheers
  2. Ill certainly do that, thank for the advise.
  3. Does it seem to you that it is getting worse?
  4. Yes, after reading this, I went and tried it, definitely does that as well. Took it back to Ford, went for a drive with the mechanic and his reply, was that nothing it wrong, its just how the ZF works, because its always in a gear. I am not happy with that reply, as it very noticeable and when not punting it around, it ruins the drive with the clunk every time you touch the accelerator.
  5. I have a mate in Adel. with BF2 Phoon, off the mark and roll on my stock as G6ET was much quicker, not so through the corners or under brakes, but in a straight line they will chase down and out run any stock BF FPV. (until he tuned, exhaust and injectors) I have also run a FG F6, off the line the G6ET gets the jump, but over 90 - 100kph the F6 come back with a vengance and chewed me up, and spat me out!
  6. My G6ET has 8000kms on it now, and I have noticed a driveline clunk. it seems to happen on light to mid throttle applications at slow speeds. eg. entering a round about etc.... Has anyone experienced the same thing?
  7. Still having traction problems

  8. Does anyone know what difference a K&N panel filter would make? just ordered one from e-bay! $90 delivered!
  9. Whilst im 'big boned' im not tall, when my father drove it he is obviously taller, he said the exact same thing, that the wheel is right in the wrong spot to see the top of the dials! Wheels magazine mentioned it as probably the only flaw with the car, is the seating position for tall persons!
  10. I tend to agree, im looking for LSD replacement, open wheeled is a pain!

    Team Grandpa?

Im a memember of this so called 'team grandpa' and only 21 yrs old. I have only had mine for about 3 months, and dont 4500K since new, no problems to date, although I have it booked in for an LSD, I think its dumb they dont do it from new, and which that much twist, the single legged variant frys tyres like there going out of fashion! The brakes, whilist not a big as the FPV's they are infinetly better than BA/ BF models. I would imagine the only thing you will like about your old car, it the repayments being cheaper! You wont regret your choice, the new G6Et's whilst not having the V8 growl, you leave VE HSV's for dead for 30K less!
  12. Does anyone find the interface with the ipod frustrating, it returns to 'A'(on the icc) everytime you receive a call, or turn off the car! When scrolling through all the artists, it doesnt skip letters in bulk like the actual ipod does! when you have 100+ artists (which isnt hard to do) it become very tiresome and takes forever to get through the arstist!
  13. I was very impressed with the change the X3 Flash tuner with custom tune made to mates BF F6, and wanted to see if anyone had done such a thing to an FG G6ET!
  14. In regards to the LSD install, whom did you get to do it? im really considering such a mod, as an open diff with that much pwr is seriously frustrating when trying to get the pwr to the road!
