god damn - you got a hoist in your shed.... sh*t man, how much did that set u back? Also, yeah I did the same in my BA a while back but I lost 3rd and 4th (4sp auto) I got mine rebuilt which took 2 and half weeks and 5K later. then crashed the car 2 days when I got it back lol. I got sh*tloads of parts I need to piss off. im gonna post up something soon on the parts page. good luck with your gearbox though man.

qik1 - dude that sounds like your building a weapon in disguise lol. yeah be careful around corners man, I crashed my BA which had 320.9RWKW so I cant imagine what 400/500RWKW will be like, that's just NUTZ lol good luck to ya though man

no idea about a single beep? could be though what 'Superdan' said about possible fuel beep but I doubt it? was the distance to empty (range) close to 80km or was you trip meter on a different setting? could have been a beep from the stereo? was it on?

U like our roundabouts hey... you visiting or moving here? so are u good at driftig around them? can u do a full circle?

only prob is trying to keep the water cool. I seen some dodgy setup with washer bottles and sprayers. waste of time I recon. how hot days are we talkin anyway. Most intercoolers should be fine with 25-30 degree days.

I heard on other forums that for 500$ some people were getting Monza ones that were doing big numbers? What rating is the PWR rated at (kw/hp) At the end of the day, if the guy whos tuning your car knows what he is doing then they should be able to see where your losing your power.

make sure you get a cooler to suit your mods now and future upgrades, u dont want an average or small cooler to 'do the job' now and then later u need a bigger one. I learnt this the hard way. Get a Nizpro, HDI or Monza, they have high numbers (KW) so shouldnt be much issues apart from installing them and getting a good tune to suit

if you want to paint/polish it. few options here. Pull if off, take it to a panel beater/painter who has a dipping service for chroming, they will make it shine for u other option is to sandblast it from the stock black color (or whatever color it is) and get it resprayed whatever color you want. Or you could not even waste your time/money and just get an after market one man, the amount of hours, driving and time u will waste doing this is beyond my understanding. IMO save your money dude and buy Either one of the following IC's.... HDI, MONZA, NIZPRO or any other one that will fit. good luck in your decision.

HDI or Fordboy's cooler, I wouldnt do the weld job of 2 stock ones unless u actually know what your doing and know how to weld. 'MICKAJ' - do u actually sell some/have photos, I would be keen to see what your talking about.

ok first off, coolers should not be too much of an issue. I bought the Nizpro cooler kit and got the whole exhaust and injectors and fuel pump and valve springs (the kit and caboodle) First off, are u just putting a cooler kit onto the stock motor with just a flash tune or have u done other mods to it? As everyone is telling u, find a diff tuner man, the cars are not THAT hard to tune but then again, thery are not easy, they get a bit complex depending on setup u have and driveline etc but nothing that at least 4 hours tuning cant fix. The longest tune on my car was about 6 hours but only cos there was things playing up/loose lines but all fixed. You need to either ship your car to someone in AUS to do the work for u or find a reputable tuner in NZ but not sure on the rep/skill they may have opposed to AUS shops. May be worth thinking/asking prices to ship car over once and get your car worked (save up some cash and do it all in 1 hit) see how u go man, good luck.

I would have thought the nizpro cooler would have been ok. then again, you are running big power so you may need a bigger/custom cooler. I have seen pics on the net with people with massive custom coolers covering almost the whole bar/grill area and going right up to the top where bonnet hatch is. Have you tried speaking to an intercooler specialist to see what he can do/advice cos im sure they do custom ones for cars like yours.

get a nizpro cooler instead, they are much better IMO.
