  7. hey yeah I didn't think it have the bigger actuator installed it has run 6 psi for 3 months that ive owned it until a few days ago I went for another drive last night im getting a steady 9 psi now lol thanks for your help the_bogan anywhere I can get a new actuator as ive heard ford don;t sell it as a part on its own.
  8. hey guys I have an 04 ba mark1 4 speed auto xr6 turbo with 145000kms on it and is stock as a rock. im having problems when you give it a boot full it boost cuts near the redline. when looking at the boost gauge it use to boost to 6 psi and now its climbing all the way to 9 psi. it had a new set of gen coils and plugs about 5000 kms ago and has a new boost control solenoid. ive checked all the hoses and intercooler pipes. the cat appears to be in good order and ive manually checked the wastegate actuator, it appears to be free but im unsure as im no ford mechanic (im a toyota mechanic). any help would be greatly appreiciated as im at a complete lose. thanks guys cheers tim.
  9. I heard that was more of a surging under acceleration rather than a boost spike
  10. hey guys, I have an 04 ba m1 xr6t auto 140k on the clock. when the car is on less than a quarter of a tank of fuel boost comes on 6 psi steady all the way to when the auto shifts to the next gear and boost spikes to nearly 10 psi between shifts but no torque control from the ecu, just wondering if that's normal or not, oh and the only mod is a k&n panel filter. cheers tim.
  11. 13.8 is rich that's ok 14.7 is where you want it to be anything above that is lean. 14.7 = how many parts air to 1 = unit of fuel
