  2. Guys - stupid question but just wanted to check. If I already have my car run on for example my daily tune. Then I plug in the XCAL and flash back daily tune rather than the wife tune this wouldnt cause any issues would it?

  5. Just posting up my first dyno chart after my first round of mods. My Baby FG XR50T has taken its first steps. Delivered by the legends at Tunehouse - Injectors, Growler, 4" dump, 100cpsi cat & custom tune - end result 337rwkw. Wasn't sure what to expect after the work but I am absolutely stoked with the increase in power and responsiveness. This should keep me happy for a while yet (famous last words)

  9. ive booked my fg in for next thurs for similar work - tune, injectors, growler cai, 4" dump and 100cpsi cat - been told to expect round the 300rwkw - will be interesting to see the end results as from what ive seen the range varies heaps - im assuming different cars, slight different build quality on parts and wildly different dyno measurements.

  12. agreed - I have a Viper 50th and its in next week for the first round of mods (injectors, tune, cai, dump & cat)
  13. good luck with this mate, I had the same issue on my last FG T. They shaved the bolts down and fixed it all back up but it kept leaking oil. Ending up ditching and got another one. Push hard, get them to fix it under warranty its a known issue. Then make sure you understand what warranty you have on that repair - will either be 30 or 90 days and make sure you keep an eye on it in case the same prob comes back.

  19. Hi guys - I've got my car booked in a mid Sept for injector upgrade and tune. I was thinking of doing the exhaust at the same time. Only thing I've done so far is add a Growler CAI on my FG Xr50-T. Any ideas on an entry-level / mid-range exhaust that isnt going to cost an arm and a leg?
  20. Hi guys - with a few of the FG's on the final legs with warranty I thought it would be good to start a new topic. I wanted to put it out there and see what are the common faults with the FG that I should be looking at getting sorted under warranty. The only one I was accross was the wrong length bolts on the timing cover resulting in the oil leaking which could be fixed by cutting down the size of the bolts. Has anybody else come accross any common/known issues?

  24. good info here, im so sick of the stock FG ones, they are absolute rubbish. I got them replaced, and within a week or two, streaking again (despite a wipe down every so often when I detail the car)
