I had a Lexcen as a company car about that time, but mine was a VP, rather than a VN. I am pretty sure VP was released in late 1991 so I suspect your right about the VN part. What month 1990 is it?

I dont advocate CCTV in homes unless its really warranted, It puts neighbours off side as they get the feeling they are being watched all the time (which they probably are) If you think its something you might want, pull some RG59 in with a 24/0/20 figure 8 and it will cover you if you want to do it later.

If you are doing 2700 ceilings, you have to go the higher doors (2400 I think?) or it looks odd. Ducted vac is a must have. Plan for plenty of lights and GPO's, even outside (dont forget dimmers). If you are putting in splits for a/c, get the circuits put in for it when you build. Internal entry from the garage is good if you can make it work. External gas point for BBQ is a winner. Big Alfresco and deck out back - our deck is 50m2 and is perefct for entertaining Theatre rooms I highly recommend - atleast consider pre-wiring so you can make use of it later Double doors at the entry gives a home presence Painful but ultimately satisfying experience.
