  1. Seriously, what it's claimed power is and what the actual power is immaterial because that is all just d1ck measuring anyway. Read some of the tests in TGA recently and supposed 400KW monsters are doing 13's. Give me a break. Just put it on a track and tell us how quick it is.
  2. Bettter than Wheels do as they always test with a passenger.
  3. Top Gear Oz mag quotes the new V8 as doing a sub 5sec 0-100, but aren't any more specific than that.
  4. Every now and again I will drop in Pat. If I do get back into a Falcon you might even see me more regularly.
  5. It's been 3 years Tab so starting to get an itchy right foot. Drove a T a few weeks ago and liked it but may look at a G6ET and join the cardigan brigade. Would like an F6 but I serioulsy dont need to spend $1100 a month on a car again. F%$kin Beemer is worth SFA so not sure if I can get out of it yet. Hey Daz
  6. Good to see Jules. Just popped in to say G'day.
  7. Does anybody post on this forum anymore or has everyone crossed over to the dark (red) side?
  8. I am also with Telstra (unfortunately) but got a letter last week to say my ADSL speeds were increasing 4 fold so that could be it. No extra cost, just extra speed and service (not) Luke.
  9. that's about 170kw's more than my bad boy Seriously good effort.
  10. Correct. *beep* is responsible for the death of 4 of his mates. Unforgivable.
  11. It's just been reported the driver was 4 times the legal limit. 0.19
  12. Very very sad event. What an absolute waste. The accident site is 2km's from my place - road is good and straight and wide so something went seriously wrong. As I drove past yesterday I remembered back to when I was 19 or 20 and what I used to do with my mates and my car. I can tell you I bounced 200 km/h several times around Melbourne - Eastern Freeway, Springvale Rd etc so I am not going to preach about what they should or should not have done. Thinking back it was my mates egging me on etc that usually started it. My car was quickish for its era and I exploited it. At the ripe old age of 45, I would be lucky to exceed 120km/hr these days and in some ways I am glad the T is gone. I just can't get myself into trouble in the 325. I actually felt relieved driving past yesterday that I survived my early days of driving. How you conduct yourself on the road changes with age and maturity. As long has young guys have cars, there will be races and speeding. You cant change that. I just hope these graphic images are enough to get the next P plater to just be a little more reserved the next time an opportunity presents itself.
  13. You missed plenty. Lowndes will be driving a Expensive Daewoo next year as well.
  14. I felt it. Most excited I've felt for weeks .
  15. I hate any f*cking radio jock that suddenly thinks they are good enough for TV. There is a reason they are on radio is the first place

  18. I reckon JG is a bit of alright actually... I'd throw the leg over for sure
  19. Sorry to hear about your situation Dags. I have my fingers crossed mate that you will be OK. I listened to the Reserve Bank Governer last night and the outlook here looks mildly opptimistic. His thoughts were echoed by Mike Smith who heads up ANZ so it may not get as bad here as it has overseas. My industry is still relatively bouyant, although we are being ultra conservative with spend and recruiting. From what I hear/read, those affected seem to come from national employers, those that trade with national employers or exporters. When the rest of the world is pretty much in recession, those that rely on trade or manufacturing feel it first.
  20. Nice mate, well done.
  21. The OP is in MELBOURNE not WA or NSW
  22. Should do a mid 12 or better I would think.
