Buying a new car has got to be have more to do with it than just kw's. The FG now looks about 10 years behind the Late model camira and is going to struggle further. Are Ford even bothering to do an upgrade?

I wouldnt trade it, unless you need to make a loss on it for tax purposes but then again you need to know what the depeciated value is as well otherwise you might end up paying tax on the sale of it. I suspect Ford would not offer more than $40K at best, and using the Redbook guide possibly less. Redbook F6 The options will add SFA from a trade perspective but would appeal to a private buyer. You need to factor in the color as well

How do you guys find the seats in the G6ET? Are they supportive enough? They are considerably less supportive than what I am used to and feel a little too soft and comfortable if that makes sence.

I had a good look at a 50th today and an earler G6ET and they are both nice places to be in. The timber look is dark enough in the non 50th that it doesnt look tacky and while I do like the brushed trim of the 50th, I wouldnt pay more for it. So on that basis I have to agree with Dillz and keep some spare coin in my pocket which will pay for a sunroof. Anyone wnat to buy a Beemer?

So, these extras as far as I understand are: Sat Nav Different trim/highlights 19" wheels std with grey highlights 50th anniversary embossing on the seats Is that about it or have I missed something? I will go and have a look in the next day or two at a yard to see for myself but I cant see value if that's all there is. This from the media release:

So, the old boy (me) is about to step back into the Blue Oval and it will most likely be in a low km, 2010 G6ET. The 50th anniversary models are going for about $46K, the non anniversary model $5-$6k less. If I dont get the anniversary model, what will I miss out on? Sat nav I understand is std in the 50th, optional in the other. By all reports its not all that good anyway. Anything else? Is the 50th worth the extra coin or not? Thanks guys. Luke.

The GT wasnt exactly screaming was it? I mean the gear changes sounded like how my dad would drive it. Is it definately a 335?

Not get leather? Cloth Seats Why would they even put a GT on the floor with cloth seats? I dont get it and there is now way I would spend $70k+ and not get leather. Surely there cant be many ordering GT's like this?
