Whos coming to this event? I am looking forward to it. My car is prepared. Well you all asked for a car event with variety to be run at heathcote park raceway hows this for variety? Easter Saturday and Sunday at Heathcote Park Raceway come as an entrant or a spectator to witness MAYHEM! That’s the name of the event and that’s what the whole weekend will be. Theres a burnout competition with $5500 in prize money up for grabs! If that’s not enough how about the superskid competition! Or the off street r...acing challenge which has $2500 on prize money! Then there is the wheelie competition for the bikes. We even have upto 60! Off road buggys coming to show us there prowess on the newly created off road track! If that isn’t enough how about the bikini competition for the girls? Then we decided hey its easter lets celebrate it. So we went and found ourselves a band to entertain everyone once the racing finishes on Saturday night! So on the easter long weekend are you going to be one of the competitors to see if you have what it takes to take home the cash! Or you going to be a spectator on the hill cheering everyone on? Don’t forget you can camp the night even come setup on Friday! Competitor camping is free if your entrant fees are paid up before the 9th april. Saturday April 23rd & Sunday April 24th 2011 Camping Campsites are available in a Families Section as well as the General Camping area. You should ask to be directed to your preferred area when arriving at the Heathcote Park facility. Reserved Spaces are not necessary as there are plenty of spots available in both areas. Campsites should be booked and paid for in advance for a fee of $30.00 per campsite (8m X 8m). Additional toilets will be provided based on the number of camp sites purchased in advance of the event, so please complete this in plenty of time to allow us to cater for your needs. Campers have access to the Heathcote Park facility from 4.00pm Friday April 22nd through to 12.00 pm on Monday April 25th. Camping can be purchase when entering. Garages A limited number of garages are available for hire at the Easter Event at a rate of $200.00 for the weekend. Garage tenants will have access to the Heathcote Park facility from 4.00pm Friday April 22nd through to 12.00 pm on Monday April 25th. Garages can be purchase when entering. Competitor T-Shirts All competitors registered and paid-up for competition prior to April 15th will receive a complimentary MAYHEM Event T-Shirt. T-Shirt size can be chosen when entering. No alcohol will be served to any individual who is not wearing the appropriate identification.

Same issue here guys I will try cleaning my throttle body out tonight. The problem was not really there when I had the 10psi generic capa tune running on the car.... But as soon as I loaded up the stock tune it had this fluctuating rev problem... especially when the lights are turned on or the voltage is dropped slightly....

What do people think of this car?? Does anyone have any history on this machine? The owner notified me the car was in victoria previously so its had more than 1 owner. I am currently in victoria thinking about a long drive to check it out. BA mkII XR6 Turbo 321rwk - eBay, Passenger Vehicles, Cars, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 16-Jan-10 21:16:49 AEDST) I'll take a compression tester . I have not had a look at any of these cars, havent even drive 1 yet . been meaning to go to a dealer just to give one a spin. Ive owned a turbo eb before but I'm sure it will be 100% different.... is it worth taking the intake piping off and checking the freeplay in the turbo shaft? Its a fair price for the mods. Never really know how much a beating its had though which makes me want standard. but then the standard ones its hard to tell if they have had mods done anyways.

that's a strange sound. How high is your idle. I've seen a few engines knock and they seem to knock at half the speed of this 1..... Maybe your pressure reg vac line failed and caused it to lean out to much?

surprising how many people come from Expensive Daewoo to ford due to the turbo's. I guess once you go turbo you are really stepping a long way down going back to N/A

damn that things pretty sexy.... you wouldnt know what was going on if that passed you in the streets....

How hard could it be to fit a bumper for one of these cars?

If you have one of the old 4spd transmissions these coolers are an absolute must. Heat kills them very quickly as I found out in my car.

you only wanna start playing around with the pressure regulators if you want to get extra fuel through the standard injectors which is what I do with my EB. Works a treat if the maths and testing has been done. Wouldnt do it in a BA they are to easy to tune.

The normal mechanic cobalt boost guage is very responsive compared to others as well. You can always tell when you have a boost leak with one of them.

DTM in geelong is a good place to get your 4 speed tricked up. They did an insane job on mine. It leaps forward on gear changes. Best auto known to man lol. really snaps into gear well and is harsh as hell on power mode and barably on economy.

Does anyone think putting a typhoon front bar on an xr6 will look alright if the rest of the xr6 is standard. From what I notice is the back of the car seems to already sit lower than the front. The standard xr6 bumper doesnt seem to go down far enough so I think it would look a lot more fitting. But wondering on peoples opinions. Just my 2 cents ...

rough idle.... would it still perform correctly up in the rev range?? Dont wanna go get a tune with injectors 10% off the rest and find it leans out a cylinder surely. :S

is it running standard turbo and setup??? that's interesting. I guess it woudl slow a manual down a lot but not so much an auto .... gotta build up all the boost again :(
