Because the rear wheels on the BF1 where off set and could only be used on the rear (not the front) On the BF2 the rears are no longer Off set

After 3 happy years of driving my XR6 turbo I have decided to purchase a BF MK1 GT manual. This car has leather interior and the sports steering wheel added. On the road for $54650. Brand new 2006 build, is white with gold stripes and I have added the shaker bonnet as well as a DVD player. Pick up in 2 weeks after the mods are done. In the meantime if anyone is interested in a Phantom XR6t with 88000 on the clock for $29000 let me know.

As has already been stated the globes are covered under warranty and replaced FREE OF CHARGE

Ok I've done the research and decided to replace the centre muff with 2 hot dogs. only 2 questions. What length have other members (excuse the pun) used in this area. Length of hot dog. and what size pipe in and out is deemed the best.

I tried a hand held GPS and found my speedo to read around 2kph slower that actual,so that's ok as far as I'm concerned

They are not FOG lamps as Fog lamps are yellow.They can be described as clearance lights and are the same wattage as low beam.

OK I had the reflash done today and I must admit the car feels stronger and smoother. Have given it a few spirited runs and all seems to be fine I guess time will tell. Also was advised by dealer that front rotors had been replaced due to brake shudder.WTF. I only had a slight vibration and was not concerned but they claim that my build date April 04 justified the new rotors under Warranty.

The ones in the new "T" are $90 each for the brake and acellerator if your running the auto

get a lower grill insert from meshman and have it powdercoated in the blue you want. Floor mats from Ford driving light covers from Ford. They are from the Territory.

If you do a search the best result seems to be had by replacing the centre muffler with 2 hot dogs. Hold the sauce :lol:

Had a call from my local dealer this morning saying they had recieved the new disc and where ready to re flash my "T" to solve the overboost/loss of power problem Anyone else had the call yet

Did anyone read the cars guide in Fridays Herald Sun. On I think page 6 there was an article about the Typhoon blowing up a couple of clutches due to flat shifting by the motor writing fraternity, and at the end of the article there is a mention regarding OVERBOOST and SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER. It went on to explain Ford had a Fix for this and it was out in the field rectifying around 1000 cars with this problem. HELLO......... Did anyone think to tell the dealers? I rang mine in Lilydale and I,me sure I could hear scratching of head anyway This morning I get a call from my dealer and they say that Ford are making copies of the new software to send out to everyone so that it can then be downloaded and then programed into our cars. HOOORAY! :lol:
