What kind of power figures have people put through the t5z?

How hard would it be to put a hsv t56 behind a xr6 turbo motor?? have one sitting in the shed

Hey mate its at a pause at the moment trying to see if I can get my Late model camira ready for the autosalon. Then im gonna steal my girl friends ef and spool it put my t5 in it and take it out to winton and see how I go drifting before I make the xf a full house drift car. it should be done within the next 5 to 6 months! no rush atm but really am keen to drive it.

Can a auto ecu run my motor with a top loader fitted!

It is going into the xf, the reason I have chosen a top loader is the fact that you can run a sequential shifter kit on them, were the t5 doesnt have a kit, and the kit developed for the t56 destroyed the syncros so they didnt produce them.

Hey guys I wanna put a top loader behind my xr6 turbo engine, just wanted to know what parts and where I could get parts and get custom stuff made that I need to do the conversion ?? Cheers

Would love to put a decent piston and rod set in it, but really cant afford to atm, I will be pulling it back out and put in a decent set as soon as funds allow. Got the rods realy cheap so thought it was worth while for now. Its the factory turbo.

Plans for the motor arent to much, 60lb siemens injectors Bigger intercooler f6 typhoon rods valve springs stage 2 cams still tossing up between standard ecu with the x3 flash tuner, or a wolf 3d. Dont know what gearbox im gonna use yet. Will post all progress up!

Yer has a solid rear end, um wieghts around 1300, hoping for around 1150kg.

Hey guys I am currently building an xf drift car that will be powered by a xr6 turbo engine, I'm currently trying to figure out what ecu to use, I can pick up a wolf 3d with hand controller for prettycheap, just wanted to know if any one was using one or if any one new of if it can run with this motor fine.
