I wasnt questioning the Ferodos they are awesome, but with the 4000s it killed them. I have used them before years ago on the dark side on they did nothing for me, I thought things may have improved. How much were the 5000s as a matter of interest.

Im Curious as to which DBA rotors you are talking about. I have ferodos, and they melted the crap out of mine and they now need machining. Anyway, just venting.

Bendix Pads... ?? Why. Its like Pedders for Suspension and DBA for Rotors. All marketing brands and no real special performance. My Opinion only.

Well I have the earlier style on my FGT and have had them a little over 6 months, Im ready to put the factory ones on as they took better punishment then these. Emailed DBA about it, no response. I have issues forever with DBA discs, like I said I have punished the factory rotores with Ferodos in and they never once showed signs of giving up. I will say the DBAs with the Ferodos bit hard but the things just didnt have the life. I have to get them machined now. Wont be doing them again.

Looks good reg. Weekend event would be good with Friday Satnight staying in town, done that before with a club and was a fun weekend. Winter not a good option though, its a bitch of a place in Winter.

Weird. I have a knocking noise coming from rear left in my fgt. Not long had coilovers put thru it and now got this noise. But as I have played it has to b related. Need a hoist is my issue. It's annoying though, slow car park speeds I hear it and also at 50 60 or so over bumps but it's not as bad as slow speeds. Very annoying. I had pat at wholesale suspension put a rattle gun on everything in the rear but no good. Getting worse argh.

Reg how much are these days ? Get people to pay up front into your account or the likes so it's a no brainer. With a little clause no refunds if u can't make the date or find a replacement driver. How many cars would we need. Would be good fun.

I put a front set of Dba 4000 xs series on my standard fg with ferodo pads ands the things are stuffed. Hwy speeds bad shudder now. Good to start but I have had them all of 6 months so not happy at all. I worked the standard discs harder. I replaced them looking for better from these. The standards showed no signs of warping at all and I still have them thank god. I will following upon this. Good money and 6 months is just not right. Pt.

Steve I have an Fg and only 3 weeks ago I went to Supercheap who had a special on, 20% off subs and a free box with the sub. I got a 12 inch, boxed it and plugged it into the factory wiring from the factory amp by removing the pug from the factory sub. The things pumps hard - there are a few stories similar to that in here. If you got better quality sub try wiring up the factory am to the sub. If you want to install a new amp you may need LLC (Line Level Converter) I think is what it stands for. You tap into the speaker wires(rears) take that to the Amp with RCA leads into the AMP - this powers and feeds the signal. Then Plug the Sub in. For around $500 a MLC or JB Hifi type joint will do it for you including the parts. Good Luck. Pete

I'm with Reg, the pass is fun but yeh a destination where there is some action. The drive to kiama is fun though, maybe we could head to Nowra - or not. Somewhere that u can have a feed like a pub - berry !!! Down the highway kiama and gerringong and into berry...Back up home thru kangaroo valley ?? Well it's an idea. Bring a full tank though ha.

Pats car handles like a demon. I think I melted my breaks coming down massive shudder but it seemed to go away after the pass could of been fluid but was making back off just a tad :-) was good fun though.

Mate I reckon it should be Albion park as there will be quite a few cars it seems. Just hope the heathcote boys see this.
