It comes with a 5 speed in standard form with the 6 speed as an option just to clarrify. I had a BF2 NA XT with a 6 speed auto and the thing screamed its tits off. Great gearbox, now I have it in my FG XRT and its even better in this one.. This prob doesnt answer anything just thought I would add it anyway.

Make sure you go see Pat he will have it fixed for ya. They know there stuff there. I had mine lowered by these guys and they did a great job, no pulling either side and the steering wheel was off centre and they made sure it was fixed before I left. No issues at all.

I put the Ferodo DS in the front end of my FG XRT with standard rotors, the difference to the standard pad is also very impressive, from the point where these things cut out to 80 clicks no problem, oh but you need to upgrade to your brake fluid naturally, I used AP 5.1 Brake fluid otherwise you will boil the standard crap. Would love some 4 or 6 pots on it, but its a company car and I hand it back in 3 years.

Are the shims (spelling) still in behind. I had a rattle in my old BA and was told by a bloke the Shims were missing, got some newbies and it seem to do the job.

Mate this is why you dont get your car serviced at any dealer. 1st year apprentices working on your pride and joy. Do yourself a favour and find a reputable independant Mechanic. -
how is it running with these kays on it ? Is it Turbo ?

Whats the Spring rate like with the Pedders Springs though with the Standard shocks. Does it feel rough ? Loose ?? I have issues with Pedders, big marketing but not sure the quality is there.

Hey Fellas New to the site, I am picking up a new one next week, I have seen a few on the road with the 19s and they sit high. I am keen to drop mine without going crazy but wondered your opinions on the different brands of springs. Has anyone had experience with the Spring made for Herrod Motorsport - check out the gallery pics. Some tips would be great. Thanks all.. Great Site.
