With doing some simple things like what's on my list you don't need to be a mechanic you just need to care and give it a go and with the DIY day there will be others like myself there that are qualified who can show you how to do it right

Yeah and slowly go broke when some things are very easy to do and can be fun learning but not all of us get paid sh*t loads to pay a mechanic to do and you run the risk of getting it done dodgy cos to a mechanic it's just another job and they don't really give a sh*t

Ok just a few things I have up my sleeve that's comes in handy 1. Tighten manifold bolts 2. Lube and clean boost solinoid actuator 3. Change spark plugs + coils 4. Change tps + reset tps 5. Change engine oil + filter 6. Change fuel filter 7. Clean throttle body 8. Block of bov to make flutter 9. Clean aircon filter 10. Clean or replace fuel pressure reg 11. Replace brake pads + rotors + bleed brakes Plus there is a heap more like installing mods eg New cooler Injectors Fuel pump Exhaust cat and dump pipe Actuator Relocate battey to boot or passenger side so turbo side air box can be fitted Dose pipes Plenums And pretty much anything

Gaz I can think of 50 things to go through with people about ba Bf turbos and I also have a great place we could hold the event near my house in eltham it's a massive car park it's sorta really hidden so we wouldn't get any unwanted attention and we wouldn't piss anyone off I think the spot at least 50 cars could fit as well

You will not hurt the motor at all don't listen to anyone on here they have no clue the only thing having an un boxed pod is that the car will suck in the hot air when stopped at the lights and when it gets hot it will feel very laggy

Jimmy Walton autos are Very good heaps of cars with big power go there he has been building em for like 40 years but they ain't cheap but you get what you pay for

And I think it's a good idea that all cars and the real powerful cars gotta run street tires cos as the title says king off the street so then if you loose traction and get Owned by a less powerful car well that's bad luck that's what happens on the street and it gives people with less power more of a chance cos we all no someone who has spent 50 grand on a engine and running gear has slicks of course he is gonna win it will be more fun this way lol that's my 2 cents
