I have a couple of questions to ask if I may. When I bought my BF 06 mk2 turbo in Jan this year the fella a bought it off told me he had a capa flash mild tune (the model that is now being made redundant)and a brand new set of (siemen) (spelling?) decca 60 injectors ready to install and said he would do it for nothing as he had no need for them now. So I agreed and my question now is if I wanted to go back to stock and flash back to factory do I have to change back to the factory injector size or are the decca 60's still ok to use.And if they are would I just leave them in or go back to the standard ones.Will the standard ones save on fuel or doesn't it matter? Also I made a my mechanic put in titanium tip plugs and they were gapped at 130 and I gave it a boot full doing around 140 ish on boost @ 10 psi with a full tank of juice and it spluttered and farted..Was this because the gaping was all wrong.I rang him up and asked him what gap he had set as I was thinking about it as it was only 2 days after he changed them for me. And I have been told since that copper is a better conductor than titanium so should I dish the Titanium plugs and go the copper with an 0.90 gap or similar. Your help and aswers to my questions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Mark.

Hi I have a couple of scratches on my Dashboard that aren't deep but are noticeable. One is above the passenger side air bag and is about 6 inches long but not deep or wide,about the thickness of a razor blade and is noticeable as I said earlier. I had a dash mat covering it but I recently put in Pod gauges and would like to know if anyone has any ideas or know of a product in the market place that might help hide the scratch or do I just have to order a new dash mat to accommodate the Pods and live with the scratch. Hi there does anyone know someone who paints brake calipers (Front and Rears) in Sydney? I don't care if they need the car for a few days just as long as they do a professional job. And before anyone tells me it's an easy DIY job my tool box only has a hammer in it and I'm very heavy handed and seem to break everything I touch. So if you know of a business or know someone trustworthy that could do this job please reply to this post. Thank you Mark.

Yeah did one yesterday.Just pull the light surround down towards you at an angle as the holder has 2 plastic clips at either side of the surround.You can either unplug the harness wire and replace the globe on your lap or just let it hang and remove the old globe and replace it with the new globe and press light surround back in its original position.Takes less than a minute from start to finish.

I remember years ago I was giving the car a good thrash and on the way home pulled into one of those auto washers and ran the car through. (Big mistake) as the rotors were still quite hot from the heavy braking I was doing and when the cold water hit them It warped the rotors. So theres just another way to warp them.

Ebay have a wide variety of scuff plates and all have double sided tape on them and they stick hard. Ebay also have plates for air boxes also. Just punch in xr6 on the search bar when on Ebay.

I'm with you Rhino no car is worth having to put up with that sort of treatment.

Mate you have the patience of Jobe.I would have dished them alot earlier in your story (say at about the time they gave you the cab number) So are you taking delivery of this car still? A long and detailed letter to the CEO of Ford Australia is in order here. Blocking communications via email is so wrong especially when you work off shore. I'm yet to "HERE" an angry person raise there voice through an email.

Your dead a long time!! and you only live once. But make sure you buy a house with a double garage so you have plenty of room to work on those mods. GO FOR IT I SAY.

I'm picking up my new plates tomorrow ...XR6FPV... To me my 06BF T MKII is a FPV.

I had the same thing happen to me recently.I was hearing a tractor chug that was only noticeable when she was cold after a few minutes it went so I checked out the bolts and the bottom one was missing.Quick fix and everything is nice and quite again. Cheers Fords Rule...

Yeah it's on there good and proper. They should make Lip stick out of that stuff that holds this bracket on. I'm going to bite the bullet and get a factory replacement next week as I have a little chip in the screen anyway. Cheers Fords Rule

Yeah I know how fussy can you be buying an Ex chaser. But this one was in excellent condition and I had a mechanical engineer friend give it a right going over it before I bought her.

I have an Ex Chaser and it has this metal bracket thingy high up on the windscreen more to the passenger side of the screen and it is pi##ing me right off looking at it can this be removed? as it seems to be on good and proper. And if not if I buy a new windsreen from O Briens will it be the same as factory with the black perferation feature at top around rear view mirror. I'm quiet fussy and I only want the original gear if I'm going to replace anything on the old girl. Your thoughts please. Cheers Mark....Fords Rule

HI GR8XR6 I'm in for both the caps if you get enough interest and same go's with the head rest insert. Is the picture displayed the LED type Angel Eyes? cause if it is I would like a set of those if that's possible too. Cheers Fords Rule

It is a personal prefrence and if you like them that is all that matters. Here are my after market LED tail lights and no doubt not everyones cup of tea but I like them.
