Goodaye, I have an Aug 03 manual (5Speed) XR6T, not modded and driven by my wife 95%, has about 56,000kms. The gears have always been difficult to shift but getting more difficult lately, now impossible to get reverse gear, just wont go in at all, cannot move car, other gears are OK. Any recommendations as to what this may be and suggested fix, I am in Sydney. Also once this has been fixed what oil should I put in the box? Transmax? Thanks, Mark

Hi all, How is the handbrake adjusted? Under car, in car, rear wheels? Any further and it will be hitting the roof it comes up that far :lol:

If that's the only thing I need to put up with I will be very happy. Now only if this Sydney weather would be kind to me, the T is VERY tail happy in the wet :lol: :lol:

michael100, mate you are probably like me now, waiting for 5pm to come to get home!!!! You have had an extra days driving than me you lucky !!! Yours a manual?

Picked up the T on Saturday and am very impressed with the car, one thing I noticed was a clunk in the driveline/diff esp at low speeds say reversing or coming into a driveway :( I would guess others have had this problem, what is the problem/fix and will it be easy to have to done under warranty? BTW its a manual Thanks

What are peoples thoughts on upgrading the trans oil to something like Redline Shockproof? Anyone done it? I know in my rex it made a differnce to the feel of the shift.

What type ie viscosity, mineral, synthetic and brands are people using in their Ts? Also any recommended KM's to be done before changing over to synthetic? Cheers
