not a bad price, seen it done for 500, to 700

you will still need to have the unit reprogrammed at ford it will say security code error, the bem or BCM (body control module, controls all the door locks interior lighting and immobilising of the car. but the no screen at all issue sounds like a faulty icc, more detail is needed for me to help you fix

you can start the car without the icc, it is 100% possible. you need to leave the bcm (body control module in) that is the plastinc box screwed to the bottom of the icc with all the connectors plugged into it.
