  6. I would just try and put a switch on the illumination input to the icc. Done this on other cars before.
  7. Actually, I do have different size tyres front and back but would this still be occuring before I start moving in this situation? How would the car know this until I start rolling?

  9. Hey guys, Just got an xr6 turbo and when I bought it the rear left abs sensor was broken. When it was like this, I couldnt use cruise control or TCS. The (!) light would pop up everytime I turned the car on but only once I started moving. Now, After replacing the Abs sensor whenever I turn the car on the abs alarm comes on, as does the (!) light and the TCS is disabled (without even driving). I can now however use cruise control. Any ideas what this could be guys? Any help appreciated. Or if you know a decent mechanic around brisbane.
  10. Lovells AU SL front Custom Lovells on rear Looking to go a little higher but unsure atm. Too scared to corner quickly.
  11. Went from an R33 gts-t skyline with roughly 200rwkw to a BA xr6 turbo with 334rwkw. - Skyline braked and handled better. Plus was very quick of the line. - Falcon rides a little better, has ten times the comforts, 4 doors, and has so much more top end its unbelievable!
  12. ^^^^ Can anyone clarify where rim width comes into the equation?
  13. I had these rims on my skyline in shadow chrome. Nice looking wheel mate and I think the white will look tits on the red.
  14. I don't really want to run a skinnier tyre, that's just what came with the car. Interested in whether it is legal, or not.
  15. hmmm judging from this phrase in the modifications guide found here, Modifications guide Qld "The nominal width of the narrowest tyre fitted to a vehicle must not be less than 70 per cent of the nominal width of the largest tyre fitted and never less than the vehicle manufacturer’s narrowest optional tyre as indicated on the manufacturer’s tyre placard." I guess since my optional spare tyre is 215 in width that the 225 20 is ok? My only question now is does that 215/55/16 size apply to the spare ONLY?
