$2k minimum.. but I can't even find one that would look nice.. all the ones I've found are crap. However I've seen some people with nice ones.. just can't find anyone in WA to supply and fit.

Any chance of getting a pic of the sunroof from the top of the car? It's hard to see what it looks like from your previous pics.

Has anyone added a sunroof to the G6ET? I've seen this mob around: http://www.prestigesunroofswa.com.au/ and am thinking about getting one.

This is the issue I'm having.. perhaps once a fortnight it will just keep going on/off during a trip. I have a HTC Touch Diamond. Having said that my car had a software update at the dealer today so we'll see if it that helps.

I've got a G6ET.. need to take a photo of it so the mrs can do her photoshop graphics stuff and delete the badges. That way I can see what it will look like without them. Has anyone debadged a G6ET? I have to agree with people who want to hide the fact that they've got a sh*t load of power under the bonnet.. I'm not a fan of bringing attention to myself.

25yo. I'm a programmer. I write software that everyone finds boring hahaha I do have a G6E Turbo though.. and it is sweet. Next car... well if FPV ever get around to making a better version of the G6E turbo, I'd probably upgrade.

Salesmen, real estate agents and anyone in sales.. of course they are trying to make a profit. It's their job and livelihood. They'd starve if they didn't make a profit. As with anything, there are bad ones and good ones. As for your purchase of a lemon, sorry mate there's no legal way of getting any of your money back in WA. Get it checked and work out whether it's a head gasket or the head. Might not be as expensive to fix as you think.

What are your opinions on getting a boost gauge for this car? Has anyone done this or know of any options?

I'm more a fan of taking badges off cars so that it's less obvious what model it is and it gets less attention. That's exactly why I like your car.. there's just one nice badge on the front and one on the back. Looks good in my opinion. Having said that, what was wrong with the original ford badge? That would look even better... plus it'd stop all the haters hahaha

Agreed. Sure it's awesome, but even if you buy one you can't keep it at your place or drive it whenever or wherever you want. Now that they're comfortable with each other, hopefully we'll see more practical jokes and funny things like that instead of lame dad jokes from the cartoonist.

A CD full of 320kbps MP3s is way better sound quality then when they come from my ipod. And the ipod navigation on my car sucks.. no fast scrolling.. takes about 5mins to get from A-D in the artists sections. It's impossible to navigate when you only want to play a particular album.

Just a note. Having Bluetooth SIM Access Profile on it's own is not enough. You must also have a fully compatible phone. My phone definitely has the SIM Access Profile stuff all enabled, but I still don't get numbers showing up.

My dealer told me to come in and ask about sat nav when it's time for a service as it would be cheaper then optioning from the factory. In the mean time I have a suction cap phone holder thing and my phone has the TomTom Navigator 7 application on it. Works a treat. In all honesty.. unless the factory unit is fast and easy to use I wouldn't bother with it. Just get a portable unit or download a GPS application for your phone and use that.

There is no hiss from my stereo in my G6ET.. well unless you're talking about when I turn up the volume on a crap AUX1 signal.

The official figure for the G6ET 0-100km/h is 5.0 secs on 95 RON. For comparison, the XR6T official figure 0-100km/h is 5.1 secs.
