  1. lol didn't realise there were other programmers around
  2. Nitto's are $220 each at that size from one of the sponsors. I put up a review thread about them with a quick summary of my thoughts. At that price, it's highly unlikely that you'll find anything better.
  3. Anyone got sound clips for the xforce exhaust or any other brands for that matter? I have to agree with the people that said they don't want any noise! I would have bought a v8 if I wanted noise. I don't need any more reasons for the cops to look in my direction.
  4. If you want the cheap option you can get an ELM type scanner bluetooth/wifi off ebay and then get an app for your android or iphone for like $2. They can see and/or clear error codes and have logging and guages and graphs and stuff. Look here for an example. I'm sure they're not as detailed as the Xcals, but it might be enough for what you're after.
  5. Well I have no idea about the KU31's, but I'm liking these tyres more every day!
  6. Agreed regarding the genuine wiring looms. Escpecially when for cars without reversing sensors they're only like $20 or $30 and make the job a lot easier. I just picked my car up after having the towbar fitted. The way it works with the reversing sensors is that they are disabled when the cap on the plug is open.
  7. Good question regarding generic tunes. I'd like to hear an answer about that too
  8. Ok wet weather.. still better. I can definitely use more accelerator off the line and around corners at speeds where the ESP and traction control kicked in with the Dunlops, they feel stuck to the road.
  9. Thanks Pete, just found a competent place where I dropped my car off this morning with the same info. The genuine loom was $90 from Ford. As for the square hitch, I got a Hayman Reese light duty one.
  10. The second suspension setup looks much better! Looking good
  11. Just a note that all driving so far has been in the dry. After lots of driving tonight, I can confirm that the tyres are more comfortable than the stockies and wayyy gripper in a straight line and around corners. Bloody good for $220 each! Can't wait for some wet weather to give these tyres a go in the wet!
  12. sh*t, I read about that. My condolences.
  13. So I replaced the stock Dunlops on the rear only with Nitto Invos. After the first couple of hundred kilometres the Nitto Invo is superior in every way. If my fronts didn't look so new I'd be replacing them right now as well. Noise: definitely not louder Cold grip: better Warm grip: better I will keep adding updates as I get through more kilometres
  14. Don't get the setups with a remote. Trust me.. you'll regret it. I have a touch screen one and it's awesome. I can update the software and/or maps just via an sd card as well.
  15. I know this is a pain in the arse question, but do you have a rough timeframe? Are we talking weeks, months or years?
  16. Pretty sure this is part of the factory ford tuning. A couple of tuners on here have managed to fix it up with a retune.
  17. I've called around a few places and none of them have been helpful. There are two different wiring looms, one regular one and one for cars with factory reversing sensors. None of the towbar places I called knew about it and had any idea if my reversing sensors would be affected. Can anyone on here shed light on this? Can I use any towbar with the ford wiring loom or is it limited to only certain towbars? I'm interested in a towbar with a square hitch, but some places said I'll need a load levelling kit and some said I wouldn't. So what's the deal with that?
  18. Nitto Invo. Got them for $220 each not including fitting. There's a thread on the forum about them. http://nittotire.com/index.html#index.tire.invo
  19. I've got a bluetooth adapter for my odb2 port. Then I use an app called "Torque" on my android phone. It accesses heaps of different data. Might be worth checking out. I have access to the PIDs and formulas it uses if that would help?
  20. What exhaust you using that supports that power and is quiet?
  21. Nevermind, just saw the price difference hahahaha
